Ciao, grazie per la tua nota! Sì, la smerigliatrice ha un'ampia regolazione e può fare molto bene al corso. Ci vuole un po' più di sforzo per macinare con le impostazioni più fini, ma funzionerà bene per versare sopra il caffè. Un bel campo e compagno di viaggio. Hi Francis, that's a tough one since we haven't really used (hands on) any of the other options. We couldn't fairly compare them. I'm most familiar with the GSI, though again have not used it hands on/in the field. What I can say is that with the Snow Peak, you're getting stainless steel construction through out. Many of the others out there, including GSI incorporate a lot of plastic in the body. It appears SP has a slightly longer crank arm (also burly stainless) which would allow for better/faster leverage while grinding. I think the GSI uses an alloy handle. Both use ceramic grinders which I'd recommend over metal blades. If you love coffee and you want to invest in one to last your days and pass down, then go SP. The Snow Peak is truly 'legacy grade'. I think the GSI would work great and if it does break or wear out, as you point out, you could replace it and still be in the same ballpark on price. We've been very pleased with the SP both for personal use and in our rental fleet. Hope this helps a little even though it's not a hands on comparison.
