@@KageMH no it’s just to fit the theme of very angry monsters. Bazels fight is nowhere near the rest of those monsters in terms of difficulty but his name puts him in there.

On one hand it's absolutely cool and exciting to fight it, on the other hand it's a pain in the ass. But seriously man, my compliment, you're doing a great job with that 👍
I just beat this thing. It carted me twice. The game actually gives you the quest quite early after the Iceborne story, so I did this with 930 armour, no augments & a regular ice longsword with high crit (I think it used Barioth parts)
Yeah, still KOd me twice on my first attempt but I think once I take him on another couple times I'll agree completely. That ground lightning wave leaves him wide open for punishment, same for that lunging haymaker since he follows it up with attacks that have a longer cooldown; and since the face takes way more damage than the tail does in regular he's way easier to knock out of red-arm mode.

Well if you’re using those broken af Safi builds then yeah of course. The tempered version is the only match for that level of power. Also, healing is far more easy in World than any entry before it (did you see how many max potions he was spamming?), so they’d have to change that or make the monsters all one shot, latter not being a favorable option.
Debateable there my guy. It didn't get "nerfed" at all lol. Few extra moves makes no difference, he's waaaaay more aggressive and dangerous now than it's ever been imo. Plus as others here stated, if you're an OG mh player or simply been playing a long time like myself and many others out there then ya it won't be as bad but he still puts up a serious fight. And yes the safi builds with 100% affinity is ridiculously powerful.
Found raging to be harder. I used great sword against furious and LS against furious. I had to move my decorations around because I needed blast resistance
Think Rajang is actually too easy in comparison to Brachy. Rajang's attacks are too easily telegraphed and he's so frail. I went to try him solo for fun and ended up killing him with ease. Brachy had me on edge of my seat, fighting to stay alive, hits harder, gets around to your blind side super quick. Way more excited for Tempered Raging Brachy than Furious Rajang. If you fear the triple cart, look no further than Raging Brachy's final stage. Been hunting from first Monster hunter game and feel like the whole healing system and mechanics make these fights so much easier. Best of luck with the hunt guys! 🤙
I actually somehow never carted on his last stage, if he killed me it was always before this stage because a explosion sent me flying and he combod me to death :D I eat for elemental resist L and the puddles in the last area almost do no damage then
his weapons, as well as Raging Brachy's, aren't as good overall as safi but they are so close that it barely even matters. Their armor though....that's absolute bonkers
Mhw players always saying these monsters are super easy... 1)are lucky they got weakened so yall wouldnt rage quit. The OG MH monsters are an actual challenege.. 2) there are so many things that help yoy out during the game.. wasps with health bubbles, cat that revives you after you die, mantles.. its cool but they should up the monsters health pool and attack damage..
I have hunted him around 10 times now and I dont think he is as troublesome as he seems . At first it sure was difficult to avoid his slim attacks cause they cover huge land. But u get use to it .

Go talk to the smithy then go to Augment and go to certain weps only.Unfortunately rarity 12 weps can't get layered

Furious never did that stuff in any of the games, it was Apex Rajang, you would need Gore Magala/Shagaru if we want Apex Rajang back.
