I saw his dec build and I said bruh out loud. I'm one to talk however, because my first two fights this monster I didn't have a blastblight dec. I got one after the hunt though. Fitting.
Pretty sure Anti-Blast doesn't stop his slime.
@@baisansebastian3358 it stops the blast effect though, which makes you take double damage, of course it doesn't get rid of the explosives on the ground though.

Idk man, Blackveil Vaal Hazak is a bit stressful without that Effluvia Resistance, Null Berries are good if you have Coalesence, but idk I'd rather not deal with having my HP Halved for half the fight lol

I finally beat him today I had to go back to a comfy build with speed eating and damn blast resistance, after my max potions ran out i just couldnt heal fast enough. I drank alllllloooooottttttttt of mega potions
This boi is insane. That final kill or die showdown is one of the single most epic conclusions to a hunt. And the weapons! Holy shit they look gorgeous!

I absolutely love both raging brachy and furious rajang. Their fights are intimidating,powerful,fun and over all their armor and weapons are absolutely wonderful.

What's scary about the final fight with Raging Brachy is that each time you hear his ear shattering nova roars, it's like a bell in a boxing match to signal the next round until the bitter end. That's what makes me like this beast, like fighting Mike Tyson's spirit animal.

Personally for me raging was much harder than furious rajang (rajang was much easier than I expected)
Protipp, stand close to him, its pretty easy to avoid him because there is not much he can do at this Position.
I've considered Raging brachy harder than furious rajang since MH4U. My thoughts haven't changed. Lol

Immunity mantle doesn’t last very long though, may as well do vit to replace it with while having level 3 Blast Resist

Yeah raging brachy was much harder to fight than furious rajang they were both good fights though
I hated raging brachydios but I do agree furrious rajang was amazing
I was looking forward to fighting raging brachy since I loved fighting the regular one, but I didn't realize how annoying and aggravating the experience would end up being. Ended up hating that fight. Furious Rajang for me was actually fun and intense, but brachy made me want to break my controller.

@@liveandlearn4445 i can help you if you're on ps4. Some tips: cut off brachy's tail. If the rng is on your side, you could get 2 or more immortal reactor while carving the tail, the body, and from rewards
So is it just me or is Brachydios the lightweight boxer with speed and mobility and raging is the heavyweight bruiser
My first time beating him took me 5 attempts and I screamed when he did his big move, but I got him with a wall bang to end it all, got all the materials for his weapon except the immortal reactor, but I just used a celestial wyvern print to get it
Blast resistance maxed out makes this guy loads easier.

@@TheArtistDT It is comments like these that make we wonder. Did it seem easier because you have gotten better than you were in the past? Or is it easier because you are given more freedom in terms of movement due to world's mechanics. Because if we look at Raging Brachy's speed and attacks in World, he is without a doubt more ruthless than past games.
@@UntamedGaming02 the environment, the fact he hits softer and the slime drops off instead of just exploding,but yh his moves are a lot more dangerous
Water weapons make this fight a lot more manageable. I also think longsword users will have an easier time keeping up damage. I had a hard time with my charge blade even after adding guard to it. I switch to LBG to shoot off slime and keep a fair distance.
Staying mobile is so important in this fight. Be patient and don't commit too hard unless it flinches
Brachy paints the floor in slime until he roars causing every slime puddle he set to explode
my theory is that with his original ORA ORA attack against the ground, he just pumping a bunch of the slimemold into the ground, it spreads underground, and then his hits and roars make it emerge by cracking the ground, wich would explain why he did that initial attack and how he can make slimemold apear by just roaring (also, he has very little slime on his body on the last phase, so it'd be kinda weird for him to be leaving such large puddles of it)

Nicely done. That would explain why he restricts you to one area - as pumping all that slime into the ground only for your prey to leave the region would be a waste of slime. Especially considering Brachydios would already have a foot in the grave at this point in the fight.
The amount of slime he would have to pump into the ground to last an entire final phase just goes to show how much stronger a Raging Brachydios’ slime mold is compared to the original. Truly an Elder Dragon level threat.

I might need to try to beat this solo every time I've tried with randoms they've died twice within 5 minutes it's very annoying
I finally managed to get past this hunt but only after I built a strictly support set to keep the randoms alive long enough to kill him

You beat this f***er on first try. I mean my gear is just Tigrex and the Shara Ishvalda sword but man, it seems i'm really bad at this game :( . Tried him recently three times (SnS player).

Jesus christ, my 1st battle and i won against him with safi LS. I was on my last cart and came up clutch bro. Those foresights, hoping the helm breakers would land. That last phase was so intense. He kicked my a** the first few phases but got constant knockdowns at the end. So satisfying
From my experience furious is much easier if you use melee since he uses a lot more ranged attacks. I'm going back after raging once I finish my bow set and just tear him apart with the mobility.
Im still figuring out how to time the foresight slash with each monster's move but seeing you pull of those epic dodges on brachy I was impressed, anyways amazing gameplay as always Dear Gamer

I always use immunity mantle with these guys so the slime dont stick to you it resists it
Is blast even that good in this game? Remember it was super op back in 3 Ult but I'm pretty sure they nerfed the shit out of it from 4 and up
The best safi weapons, which were for a while by far the best weapons in the game, are generally the blast ones. Raging brachys weapons have replaced a few of them and they are blast too. So I'd say yeah blast is good af.

Props for using a blast against a blast monster
K...slime bad in the Brachy Cagematch cause of 2 reasons:
-1st he can set them up everywhere and explode them all at once when he wishes
-2nd the slime spots do quite a bit of tick damage to him while he stands on it....noted for whenever i get to this fight.
As a soloist I always laugh in mantles, fortify when taking on hard monsters, and I also use elemental weapons. Also on my final cart I switch my palico to vigorwasp

Rule of thumb in monster hunter, dont try to overcommit to an objective, loss of dps while also being able to have stunned the monster enough times to fatigue it and then smack it to the wall, not only were you leading up to the fatigue while hitting him but you can be rewarded with that wall smack= MORE DAMAGE

Did I miss something? Title says "first attempt solo" and "new monster reaction". I don't see so much of a reaction in the video.
Aside from that, when he reaches the final phase of the battle he says: "I think this is it." and after that "Alright! This is it! Nobody leaves!"
How did he know this is the final phase and nobody can actually leave when it's his first attempt? Just a blind lucky guess?
Then there was (almost) no reaction when *R. Brachydios* punched the ground like a berserker, everything was in flame and the exits were suddenly blocked. I mean, Is this a regular occurrence in this game? No. I played the game myself until Fatalis. Reactions to the suddenly changed epic music weren't there too. *No complain!* I'm just annotating that, because I'm just wondering. I expected a little more as a *reaction* for a new monster.
We’ll just do you know prior to this “new” monster coming out Capcom did a walkthrough of its moves and this “last phase” so we already knew what to expect. They told us you can not leave when the phase starts. This is all old content so I can understand you not knowing.
Oooooh! Okay, thank you for the info! Even when I started MHW the first time years ago I didn't know about Capcom told the players all that. Back then I lost the interest to the game and got it back a couple of weeks ago again and since then I virtually played it non-stop. Luckily a pal gifted me *Iceborne* and I experienced R. Brachydios and stuff earlier. But it was such an awesome experience and the game in the whole is such a masterpiece in my eyes. Almost. It's not perfect, but an extremly good and beautiful game.
I have always enjoyed fighting BrachyDIO so his fight wasn't too hard, but furious Rajang was almost equally painful to fight like apex Rajang

How do you get the immortal reactor?
Chiafade now Not really. I mean you can carve one from the tail but so far out of the 5 times I’ve hunted it I’ve gotten 4 brachy palliums and not a single immortal reactor. I broke every single part every time too. I used every lucky voucher on him too. The drop rate for that thing is insanely low.
I fought him once,broke his head. I got 3 at the end of the quest.

i got two from a carve, so just go ham and you'll get it, eventually
