In 2016 a Nobel Prize was awarded for studies in autophagy. Autophagy is invoked by dryfasting or soft dryfasting (some water to moderate the autophagy intensity). When the body is in autophagy it seeks, sequesters and enzymatically dis-assembles all bio-accumulated matter, including placque. It converts the waste into water, gas, and particles, some it conserves and the rest it flushes out through the kidneys and other portals. The great lymphatic systems plays a key role.

Such a great explanation! Thank you for that:) I have a question - what is the case with cholesterol oxidation from real food - meat, cheese, butter or ghee? Does it get oxidised when the produce is heated and what effect does it have on the body?
Saturated fats do not oxidize. Monounsaturated eg. butter. oxidize but at a slower rate than PUFAs. Oxidation causes oxidative stress, which is basically a faster aging and cellular destruction.
Liver holds onto cholesterol it makes it too. Chronic inflammation: oxidation, . Antiodant A C E vitamin blood test HSCRP marker to see if you're inflamed.
Unless cholesterol is very higher when gets stock all over body. Usually familial hyoercholestemua. If ldl gets too high just gets stocked. In that case blood need to be cleaned all the time.
