What a great project and yeah I can see why it’s popular with the added lights! Love this, I love furniture builds but this is a nice way to have some fun, make some money, gifts, etc
I've been carving some Christmas trees and have been debating about taking the time to put light in them. Now, I guess I'm going to buy some lights tomorrow 😅 what a difference it makes really brings them to life! Thanks for all your videos, Jordy!
Thank you for doing this so early. You think about others, and that's who you are!! Getting ready to put my first carving up on the trails near my house!!
Getting my Jordy fix today. Our Christmas stuff is already out on the shelves for the season. (USA) These are adorable, Not to complicated. Thank you for the ideas and tips.
yes sir fence board trees!!!! love them!!! I'm like you I bought up all the lights I could find last year .. got two bags full Lol I just need to carve some trees...lol
Im really loving the new style of tree brother 🤘 just goes to show ya to keep pushing & doing different ideas progresses your art ! Keep inspiring Jordy your one in a million my friend 🖤🤘
Awww thank you Jordy ❤. . I sooo plan to do some trees like these. Such a great idea and thank you for showing us how to do it. As always you're the best ❤
I'll definitely be having a go at doing these, not for selling but as give aways to my family and friends. Just need to buy a glue gun now, the need for tools never ends..... Great tutorial 👌
Thanks Jordy - Lowes and Home Depot right below you in Washington start bringing the Fairy Lights out right around Halloween. They sell 20 to 100 light sets for more than you paid at Wally World I know! LoL! Smaller light too, smaller drill. Love the Cedar especially here in the PNW, nothin' says PNW like Cedar! (and Salmon!) Plus, if you bring them in the house instead of leaving them on the porch (for the porch pirates to steal). The Cedar makes the house smell sooo good! All the time you were carving, I was thinking, oH Boy that looks I-T-C-H-Y!!!
They are great! Seeing them lit all together was beautiful! And the singing with the video made this over the top!!! Lol. Have a great day Jordy. Are you allowed to video at work? It would be interesting to see what a long shore man does
I have literally never carved a thing in my life (i'm 22. So, I'm not that old). In fact, I was never even interested in carving at all. This is literally the second video I've ever watched about someone carving something (the first being your video on the trend airshield which is how I fell down this rabbit hole) and I've decided that I'm going to give carving a tree like this a try. I know nothing about the tools i need to get started, but I'm going to start researching on what i should buy. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you, or anyone reading, provide a set of links for types of bits or recommendations a complete novice should start off with? I know you mentioned some bits in the video, but I don't really know why what bit was used for what. So, any guidance would be extremly invaluable. Thanks.
@@CarvingFusionWow, that's quite a short list. I was expecting a mini mountain of different bits for different work. Thank you very much. I'm excited to try this out. Wish me luck.
@CarvingFusion What coarseness of flame bit do you recommend for making trees like this? They have fine, coarse, and extra coarse on their website. Thanks.
@ZunarZulfiqar :) the extream is the black course one, I would also suggest the silver one and a sliver tapper burr, the shorter tapper burr that looks like a traffic cone
Yeah us dollar generals have a variety of battery lights when they stock for Christmas bought several last year.
The finger lick trick is brilliant😂

The way you hold your little finger out while holding the dremel worries me !
That's because it broken and I can not bend it :)
Will it get better ? (it seems like it's been like that for awhile)
@@CarvingFusion
@michellefel147 No, it's been like that for 25.+ years lol
Wow lol
