- Dave Myers Memorial Ride - From Beverley to Scarborough via Whitby. Around 6000 bikers turned up to give a biker nod to Dave Myers of the Hairy Bikers after losing his battle with cancer on the 28th Feburary 2024.
Couldn't go due to work , Dave seemed a lovely genuine guy and more than deserving of this memorial ride unlike most of TV lands vacuous wastes of space !

Great to see the variety of bikes that paid tribute to a man that had two wonderfull sides of him that even the weather cried at his loss!

It was a cracking ride out. Absolute bedlam at Scarborough. Unfortunately my camera fell off my helmet on the way to the ride.
It was a belter! Did you recover your camera?
@@TheEerieBiker I did. I had attached it with a safety string so it didn't actually fall and hit the ground. It did stop me from videoing the ride though.
yes he did seem to be a nice bloke. Pity though that Simon King is now making money out of him flogging the book. Him and Dave's wife haven't had the decency to wait a respectable amount of time before jumping on the bandwagon. It's for charity.....ha...... A pig has just flown past. Dave carried him for years he was a proper chef
