I had the pleasure of randomly meeting Dave a while back. It was mid-way though the worst of his fight, yet he was still the most pleasant, upbeat and warm person you could possibly imagine.
Gonna miss Dave and Si's Hairy Bikers, what a brave man he was right up to his sad passing, can't imagine how his lively wife and Si are feeling at this sad time but what a great tribute to this lovely man RIP Dave you'll be missed so much

This is epic, i wonder what the numbers will be on the official dave myers rally ride out on the 8th of june lead by si king himself. That'll be going from London to Dave's home town of barrow upon ferness. I'll be joining that ride from Blackpool, can not wait. Its on face book as "Dave Day" and details of this ride out will be aired on planet rock on the 14th April at 10am and on the Facebook page there after.
Bikerrs love a good ride out for a good cause and Dave Myers was a wonderful broadcaster and genuine biker , a real worthy cause and a great tribute to a lovely man .
I think Mr. Myers would have approved. I actually think he might have been slightly embarrassed that so many folk came out. Both the Hairy Bikers always struck me as being very humble and down to earth blokes. Hope Si is doing ok.
Been brought up with motor bikes, since I was three months old always went away on back of my dads bike. Had a few scooters too what a amazing tribute 👍 God bless him. 🤗

Saw my wife and me a couple of times in the video too. I'm sure Dave's spirit was with every single person there. Big love and peace to all who came. RIP and ride free hairy fella. ❤

I was at hoar cross hall.the dslay before his wake was held there and when we were told that it was happening the next day me and my friend got all emotional..we felt as if we had lost a friend..had a lil wave witj the vicar before we left..as he was arriving ❤❤❤
Wonderful...Sad why everyone came together...but it echoed what a lovely bloke Dave was and he would have been chuffed to bits that the biker family all turned up in so many numbers to pay tribute to him.
My maternal relative married in March 63 to Chris He had owned motorbikes since the early 50’s. In their courtship and married life up until around 35 years ago they used to go all over the place Chris would have loved watching this tribute to Dave Sadly Chris died June 2023 aged 89 He had a Triumph Bonneville T100 from the 60’s It was sold last Autumn for £3000 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏👍 👍 👍 🥲🥲
How lovely to see all these bikers turn out to give a tribute to Dave. It would be wonderful if they could attend The St. George’s day rally in London on the 23rd April to support this wonderful Country of ours that Dave also loved.
