one more cons: basically you are restricted to trade in personal accounts. a.ka. you need prior approval to buy and sell stocks under your account

Thanks for sharing. Currently I am working as a C++ developer in a company that do trading. I used to make gateways(APIs). Here I have work life balance ☺️. But as you told I am thinking to switch carrier from low latency development to other tech. Initially I was thinking to make a switch and preparing for HFTs like tower research.
Can You please suggest is there any company (HFT) that is having work life balance?

I have a question currently I'm pursuing bca and my plan is to go for MCA (master in computer application) from Top NITS so if got campus placement in Amazon , Microsoft or any other Product based company so after working in 1 or 2 years in those companies can I get a job in HFT firms like NK securities or Alpha greap or so on

I'm also doing bca, and after that I'll be doing masters in maths&CS from IITs. And during placements I'll apply for HFTs.

yes ,fucking hell. that's why they could pay you millions of dollars p.a.. Because you need to consider the upcoming non-compete if you quit (or being fired, still need to serve that non-compete!)

Hey! I recently has been selected in an HFT company as a Quant Analyst role but I'm not sure about this role, is it same as quant trader or it comes under engineering domain? (In the interview they didn't ask coding questions at all)

Some places or positions are only meant for geniuses and prodigies of the world. That’s what differentiates them from ordinary mere mortals like us.
If you are not a coding or Maths wizard, or do not have any achievement in a high profile coding competition or Maths Olympiad at global level then don’t even dream about Jane Street. No roadmap or Didi, Bhaiya TH-camr can get you there.

Hell yes. What else do I have in my life? It's not like I'm waiting to win an Oscar. This is all I have. This is literally the only thing which I'm good at.

Yes in the short-term not in the long.
In 5 years you can probably amass a wealth of 5-7CR & hence won't have to work again unless you want to.
This cuts short your roadway by 5 additional years at a salary of > 60 LPA in a product based startup.
So it's definitely worth it I believe.

Hi Shubham, I have watched most of your videos and I find them very informative. One thing that I wanted to know is negotiation after receiving an offer. How does competing offers help to negotiate? I know it's a very generic topic but I am still confused about it as I am a new grad.
