@@DIY-repair thanks! I thought it was odd the ones I found on Lowe’s kept saying hardwire in the installation manual. But thank you! I’m going to tackle this project soon with the help of my daughter and a nice sturdy piece of wood to lay over my glass cooktop 😬

I had a hole in the wall already. I'm using the existing vent system.

I threw it away and replaced it with the regular one that stands on the countertop
