Plus of course Brent thinks she's 'easy' so is deep down trying to get off with her.

Probably my all-time favourite scene You really get to see brent lash out at Trudy with such force wearing his heart on his shoulder BUT at the same time he ironically keeps his cool the entire time. Love it , very relatable

it was a bit harsh but i think brent deserved it here to be honest. her boss (who has already made the black guy and the disabled woman in the office very uncomfortable with his treatment of them, and spread offensive lies about her boss neil) first tries to sabotage her prospects then tries to push his way to the front.
It was a classic 'shit test' (of his manly ego)... and he failed miserably. If he'd handled it with a sneaky/cheeky comment back, with a smile, and confidence, he could have ended up scoring.
