Sawano is a Legend, the mad lad behind the tracks for Kill La Kill, Re:Creators, Seraph of the End, Kabaneri, and many other shows. All of his music has a 'signature' to it unique to him. I remember listening to Light and Shadow and going, "Hold on is that a Sawano Drop?!"

In this alternate universe rakan and xayah were a part of the star guardian team with ahri I believe but they were killed by zoe (the small girl with different color eyes) and resurrected while also brainwashed into thinking they were killed because of their previous team. Xayah believed this completely and wants revenge but Rakan is noticably not engaging in any fighting and is only protecting xayah as he is not completely corrupted by Zoe and still holds some sense reason. Also when Xayah was hurt you can see the corruption start to appear but Rakan negates it for her and transfered it to his own self, this however deteriorates his grasp of sense of reason and can possibly change him like Xayah. These two are still couple goals lol
Edit: I could be wrong in some areas but from what I've gathered I'm fairly certain this is accurate with the Star Guardian lore

i think in the prestige star guardian soraka's lore Rakan sacrifies himself to safe xayah from that corruption, but ikd if that is canon knowing how prestige skins work sometimes
So in League of Legends, outside of the few lore based skins, none of the skins are canon. However, many of the skins are a part of their own universe with their own lore. For example, the K/DA skins are part of their own universe with their own lore, Pentakill its own, Battlecast and Resistance their own together, Odyssey its own, and of course Star Guardians. Not all skin lines have lore, but for those that do you can find the stories on the League Universe page.
The Star Guardian skin line is heavily inspired by Sailor Moon and other magical girl anime. In its story, you have the First Light, who created the Star Guardians to fight against monsters of darkness in the universe. The first ones we see are Lux, Poppy, Lulu, Janna, and Jinx. They're doing the classic anime trope of living a normal school girl life but then secretly being magic girls fighting monsters after having been sent to Earth (where you see them falling) by the First Light.
The second video introduces Ahri's team, which is more experienced than Lux's. Ahri's team is her, Miss Fortune, Soraka, Syndra, and Ezreal. However, Ahri and Miss Fortune had three former team members who they lost, which can be seen by the three shattered crystals she's holding. (also fun fact, Lux and Ezreal are actually together in this universe).
The third video shows Neeko, one of Ahri's original team members, who is being chased by Xayah and Rakan, who were also members of Ahri's team. Xayah was killed and corrupted however, which is why she is evil. Rakan wasn't fully corrupted, but he still went with Xayah to try and prevent her from falling further. The other character is Zoe, who was one of the original Star Guardians that turned completely to the dark side and is trying to corrupt the universe. She's the main villain in the Star Guardian universe. Ahri however somehow learns that Neeko is alive and goes to save her.

Based on your reactions it seems like you guys have never seen or know about the existence of Sailor Moon. To make this short this is a series of skins that Riot has made for their characters.... it's in their own universe. Kinda like K/DA or Pentakill or True Damage or those Project(robot/cyborg) skins

The Star Guardians are an alt-universe skin line based on Sailor Moon, the first batch were Lux(Pink), Poppy(Blue), Lulu(Green), Janna(Purple) and Jinx(Red), they’re the new team fighting to protect the universe. It’s sort of hinted that Jinx has a thing for Lux in some of the written fiction for this skin line. Ahri, was part of seemingly the original team, which has her, Rakan, Xayah and Neeko(The little green thing XD), but Zoey(the other gremlin) seemingly killed them, in reality she corrupted the former two whole Neeko escape and she been hunted that whole time. The only member of Ahri’s original team was Miss Fortune(Red/Orange), but she’s pulled together a new team that works with Lux’s made up of Ezreal(Blue), Soraka(Green hair with horn) and Sandra(Purple).
There’s also a semi canon skin for Urgot, of Him cosplaying as one of them either as a huge in universe fan, or a fan of a show in his own verse.

So skin lines in league support the multiverse theory. Essentially all of the skins in game that are not lore based are from alternate realities/universes that are not apart of the main one. Star Guardian is one of the many multiverses in the grand lore of League. Essentially though it does not matter, they are just different peeks into how the characters are in different universes.
Star Guardian is inspired by Sailor Moon heavily, that cutsey anime girl show. To explain the lore of Star Guardian basically in the first video this was the first Star Guardian team of Earth, but Jinx left them after a fight, then as you see she comes back. The second one shows that the first team basically left earth and the new team was formed, with Ahri as the team leader. The third trailer shows Neeko, the green girl being chased. She was part of Ahri's team but was MIA, where we now see she was trapped by Xayah and Rakan, who were once Star Guardians as well, but then they were corrupted and turned dark by Zoe, the evil little girl you are seeing. All three of them have kept Neeko hostage so she has been fighting to get out. At the end though we see something must have triggered Ahri to realize where Neeko was at and she found and freed Neeko.
Xayah and Rakan were not just star guardians, but were also a part of Ahri's team before they were corrupted.
Please correct me if I am wrong, as I am in no way an expert on the lore.
I thought Xayah and Rakan were Meeko's teammates until they were killed and brought back corrupted by Zoe. While Xayah is still fully corrupted, Rakan managed to break free in his mind but is staying for Xayah's sake, trying to find a way to free her. It's why he is less aggressive.

As an aside, Sailor Moon and other magical girl anime are far darker than their art style or overall wholesomeness might suggest and while the heroes ultimately save the day, things get pretty grim along the way. The Star Guardian line hits those beats as well with the introduction of the more mature Guardians and, of course Zoe and the Dark Stars.

Alright, I got curious and did a bunch of research on the Star Guardians and I'm here to give you the quick and skinny:
1st video group, Lux(captain), Jinx, Poppy, Lulu and Janna are the newest and youngest squad of Star Guardians. They aren't super involved bigger picture in these Cinematics yet.
2nd video: Ahri(captain), Miss Fortune(vice captain), Ezreal, Soraka and Syndra, are a second and older team (think like the college students, if the new team are high schoolers). Ahri and Miss Fortune are old teammates from an older team which fractured in the past when Zoe (evil little girl) ambushed them in the unseen past. Ahri forms a new group with newbies Ezreal and Soraka, while Syndra is actually a veteran from an even older team. Ahri caries the magical gem stones of her past 3 fallen team mates, and vows to save them even if destiny says otherwise.
3rd video: In the past, Zoe ambushed Ahri, Miss Fortune, Neeko (lizard girl), Xayah, and Rakan. In the ambush she managed to kill Xayah and Rakan, and Neeko barely escaped and hid. Ahri and Miss Fortune survive and get out. Zoe then revives Xayah and Rakan with her "shadow/chaos" power. Xayah is resentful for being abandoned by her team, Rakan is patiently biding his time trying to think of a way to save himself and Xayah from Zoe's clutches. Xayah eventually finds Neeko hiding and that's when this video starts. Neeko frantically tries to escape the dark prison Zoe has erected around her but is foiled. That is when Ahri arrives to save Neeko, Xayah and Rakan from Zoe's clutches. Again it showcases the broken magical gem stones of her past allies with as she steps up to fulfill her promise to save them.

neeko (chameleon girl) was definitely the protagonist of the last trailer q: xayah and zoe were attacking her while rakan was protecting xayah (but notably not actually attacking neeko himself, aside from one time where he thought he defensively was attacking her but it was actually xayah while he was protecting neeko who had transformed into xayah).

Roadhouse is the most anime romance movie ever. These videos were basically the prelude to the K/D/A style marketing campaign that would kind of take over the game later and all of the girls are actually "star guardians", including Meeko... and Urgot. (don't ask) There were three different "eras" of teams representing three seasons of LoL, and also a span of time in the "alternate universe" where the girls broke up and reformed and [insert anime thing here] and also [pajama party].
I guess that means that all 80s action flicks are anime romance. Makes sense 😛😁

These are all Alternate Universe skins with groups of Star Guardians (think Sailor Moon) protecting the world. There are a bunch of stories that give more background info, but in that first one, Jinx had a falling out with Lux, the leader of that Star Guardian group and left (but reappeared at the end and they're cool now.) In the second one, Ahri was a leader of another Star Guardian group, but most of her Guardians disappeared tragically. She ended up leading a second group (the one you see at the end of the second video) but always kept an eye out for clues on her original group. The last cinematic, Xayah, Rakan, and Neeko (the little lizard creature) were in Ahri's first group of Star Guardians. Zoe (the evil looking little girl who kept popping in and out of portals) corrupted Xayah and Rakan, which is why they were attacking Neeko. And they were all stuck in a kind of mental prison, which is why every time Neeko thought she escaped, she found herself back at the bottom of the tower. She was about to give up and get corrupted by Zoe when Ahri came and found her missing Star Guardians! (Presumably rescuing them, but we don't have any lore post-this cinematic)

We have a podcast over at th-cam.com/users/LeagueofLoreheads where we go through the lore for each Champion, and I'm usually the one who has to dig up the AU lore. It can be a challenge, to say the least. XD

Star Guardians is a set of skins (costumes) in league of legends. skins sets usually have their own lore separate from the main league lore, but most of them don't really have an actual story. The videos were more meant to showcase the skins, and not any story. The theme of the design is heavily inspired on the anime sailor moon, or the typical mahou shojou (japanese magical girl). Champions from the vids that i recognized were jinx, ahri, lux, poppy, neeko, ezreal, xaya, rakan, zoey
Im personally not a fan of skin lore either, the skins i buy are mostly just for cosmetics.
I noticed it might be a bit confusing if you are not aware that some videos show champions in costumes and not the actual champion. KDA for example is another set of skins (costumes)

the broken stars in Ahri's hand in the second cinematic are the same in the third cinematic. These stars are from Xayah, Rakan and Zoe, who were the first members of the ahri group and were corrupted.

The story behind this goes like this:
Star Guardians are people who are chosen by fate to protect the galaxy from darkness. They are champions of destiny empowered by the cosmos to ensure order is kept. Those who are chosen are pure of heart and have an immense amount of resolve when it comes to selflessness. The skin line is a re-imagination of every single champion that has a Star Guardian skin. The lore within the skin line has nothing to do with the champion's actual lore in game and in the Runeterra universe.
Zoe is an ancient threat to the Star Guardians, and from what I understand, she was once a Star Guardian herself eons ago that turned away from the light and embraced the dark, becoming known as the entity the Twilight Star. There are other threats as well beyond Zoe, such as Fiddlesticks and other generic monsters like Baron Nashor. Anything the Star Guardians fight is a city-level or even planetary level threat.
Ahri is the captain of a Star Guardian team composed of Syndra, Ezreal, Miss Fortune (Sera), and Soraka, though Ahri's ORIGINAL Star Guardian team was Miss Fortune (Sera), Xayah, Rakan, and Neeko. We will call Ahri's original team Team 1 and her current team Team 2.
Rewind a year or so before the final video Light and Shadow, and Team 1 was sent to a desolate planet to engage with Zoe. Something happened where Zoe killed Rakan and Xayah and nearly killed Neeko. Ahri thought it best to retreat and come fight another day, while Sera never wanted to leave their friends behind. Zoe resurrected Xayah and Rakan with his chaos magic and turned them into her weapons against the Star Guardians. That's why Xayah and Rakan were chasing down Neeko, because they were brainwashed into thinking Neeko and other Star Guardians were their enemy. Or....so it appears. Rakan actually was able to hold on to some of his light which enables him to remember that Zoe is the enemy, but also knows she is far too powerful for the 3 of them to take on by themselves. Xayah is completely consumed by Zoe's chaos magic and we find out it's because of her rage from remembering watching Rakan die that fuels Zoe's control over her.
In the 3rd video, we see Rakan healing Neeko because he remembers Neeko is his ally, as well as not actually attacking Neeko, but also defending Xayah. In another section of the video, we see Xayah becoming more consumed by the darkness after getting injured, and Rakan gives away a portion of his light to her to ensure she isn't lost forever, at the expense of potentially being totally consumed himself. The video ends with Ahri finding Xayah, Rakan, and Neeko to her surprise, alive. The 3 charms in her hand are the broken charms of Xayah, Rakan and Neeko, so she held on to Team 1's memory.

He doesn't work for Riot, but he has been bestowed the title of "Lore King" by a lot of the guys who work on League of Legends and Riot Games as a whole. He's even gained the opportunity to have 1 on 1 interviews with the developers several times in the past. His channel goes deep into many different champions, regions, and stories within universe and he has a great storytelling energy about him. He's been at it for many years at this point and he just did a reading of the new Star Guardian lore 4 days ago. Link below. Guess y'all never seen Sailor Moon as kids. Magical Girl is like an anime sub-genre of action, but aimed at younger girls. It's like shounen (Dragon Ball/Naruto/One Piece), but the other side of the coin. Star Guardian is the highest selling skin line League of Legends ever made, I think it's tapered off a little because they lean on it a bit too much over the years, but it's still the top
We never got into Sailor Moon. But anime was not really something either of us got into as children for some reason 🤗
These are basically trailers for a line of skins which only influence on the basic game is aesthetic.
As far as the nine-tailed fox is concerned IF I do remember correctly in Korea (I don't remember the name of the creature) they are basically succubi, seducing men and draining them of their souls, while the japanese one, the kitsune, is only malicious until she achieves the ninth tail.
Basically: if a fox manages to live a hundred years she turns into a malicious yokai (spirit/demon/cryptid) and grows a second tail, also becoming a shapeshifter; after that, for each hundred years she grows a new tail and, with that, her power increases however, as soon as she grows her ninth tail she ascends to minor deity, trading her malice and cruelty for a more "prankster-y" personality.
Of course, they can still harbor grudges and unleash their wrath in a very demonic way, but they're mostly neutral.

The First Video had Jinx, Lux (pink pig tails), Janna (tornado move), Poppy (hammer) and Lulu (Green yordle). They ended up leaving Runeterra to fight among the stars. The second group, were the next protectors of Runeterra, Ahri, Ezreal (boy), Miss Fortune (red Hair), Soraka (green hair, wings and horn with a staff) and Syndra (Purple hair). Syndra eventually fell to twilight and i believe the team was also supposed to include Rakan and Xayah who got trapped somewhere. Third video opens with Neeko being chased by Xayah and Rakan. Eventually, Zoe shows up to help Xayah and Rakan. Zoe is a corrupt former star guardian, corrupted by the twilight. Ahri shows up at the end, hinting neeko may have been a part of their group and the stars Ahri was holding represent Neeko, Xayah and Rakan. The most recent Star Guardian cinematic introduces new Star Guardians and ties into the storyline of Zoe attacking Runeterra.

Every skin line is an alternative universe with it's own lore in this universe zoe the little girl corrupts star guardians like she did with xayah and rakan and turn them evil also funfact ahri in the lore seduces man to suck their life essence but she doesn't do that anymore

There's a bunch of genres, just like they're TV shows, although a ton more expressive and cartoony, plus there's Subbed (Subtitles, keeping the Japanese Language) and Dubbed (Changes the language to English, if that'll help you).

SG's lore is really cool. There are a bunch of stories of them you can read on the website if u like. It's one of my favorite universes actually. There will be another event on League this year about the new Star Guardians. Hope we get another cinematic. And another reaction. muah :3

Yeah, I don't really care for these cinematics either. Not really into all the anime "Magical Girl" stuff like Sailor Moon and all that. The colors are pretty, but that's about where it ends for me. It IS kinda cool to see alternate takes on champions I'm familiar with, but I vastly prefer most of the other "alternate reality" skin lines. Stuff that's super anime just isn't really up my alley. It's a wildly popular genre though, so I'm happy for the fans who get something like this that IS up THEIR alleys. :)
And yeah, I think the associations with the kitsune vary from region to region. I don't really remember which is which, but I THOUGHT the Korean depictions were the more positive, "associated with good fortune" versions but I'm mostly basing that off of the fact that Ahri seems to generally be depicted as Korean herself and she's usually considered a hero/protagonist (and everything I've ever heard concerning Japanese spirits is usually oriented around said entities not being particularly friendly). Honestly, East-Asian cultures are NOT my forte so I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if I had that completely bass-ackwards.
Whatever the case, it's always nice to have a few more LoL vids to watch and have a drink to. I'm glad you guys checked these out, even if the vids themselves aren't really my cuppa. ;)

It seems interesting on this story if “Star Guardians” is showing off some unique skins for characters that you never been seen before. It seems to get the vibe of Sailor Moon style that brings flashy colors of galaxy. Also I might be wrong with this saying, “Is this the video that take place before Ahri forming K/DA universe?” People tell me if I am wrong or give a strong guess on it.

Star guardians and K/DA are from diff universes, but there is an ahri skin before K/DA, i think is Ahri popstar or something, this was ahri before she got to create K/DA
Ahri in the main canon lore isn't considered a hero, or more precicely she doesnt consider herself to be one. Ahri survives by "feeding" on human souls. Once she accidentally killed her loved one, and after that she chose to isolate herself pretty much completely only coming out when shes desparate to "eat". If we assume the game Ruined King is cannon (debatable) its the first time in years that she spents time around other people for that long time, and shes constantly afraid she might hurt one of her new friends. Star Guardian Ahri is another person all around, same as Jinx or any other who are not the same as their "real" counterparts. Each universe has its own lore, with stories to accompany it and sometimes they keep some part of their personatities the same but its not an absolute rule.
Interesting dynamic they have going for Ahri. Trying to be good but still needs to feed on human souls. Like a vampire that wants to be good 🤔
The star guardians is from an alternative universe of league of legends, they are skins (different costumes and personality to the league of legends universe) they are born from the first star that created the life in the universe, the star guardians protect the universe from the darkness, and in the first two videos shows two star guardian teams, the first one have Lux (pink hair) Jinx (red hair) Janna (Purple) Lulu (Green) and Poppy (Blue). They are the new team, and in the second video is Ahri's team, with Ezreal, Miss Fortune, Soraka and Syndra. and in the third video, the evil little girl (Zoe) is an star guardian too but she is evil and she Corrupted Xayah and Rakan to her side to fight agaist the star guardians. They all with Neeko (Lizard girl) was from Ahri's original team but they died in an battle, and Neeko was lost so ahri thought they were all dead but when she leaves, Zoe Ressurected them and turned them evil, and Neeko was hiding from them. The third video show when they finally find her and when Zoe was corrupting her, Ahri comes to save her when she found out her old friends are all alive. Xayah hates the star guardians cuz she think they left they behind but is not true, and Rakan is still good but he tries to cure Xayah from corruption but when he does it he corrupts himself. This year the story will continue with new characters and skins

Star Guardians is an alternate universe for a skinline. League has a couple of those with actual full on lore. In general the skinline is based around Magical Girl genre of Anime specifically Sailor Moon.

These are from a alternate universe using LoL characters in a different scenario. Too bad that they don't see the similarities with the "Maho Shojo" (Magical Girl) type of show. One of the most notorious examples would be Sailor Moon, Sakura Card Captor or Puella magi Madoka Magica. These cinematics/skins are supposed to be on the same type of theme as the previously mentioned shows.
We are just now seeing more anime and slowly starting to watch stuff with it. So we never saw Sailor Moon. Know of it and how popular it was (is?) but just never saw it really 🤗

Skins in League of Legends are mostly all alternate universes, so the champions you see are almost always completely different versions of themselves, but with similar characteristics. Star Guardians are almost like Sailor Moon if you've seen any of that before, basically they're given powers from the stars to combat evil. It wasn't Vi with Jinx it was Lux, there's also a popular fanfic that they Lux and Jinx are in love. 1st line up was Lux, Jinx, Janna, Poppy and Lulu (the two Yordels), 2nd line up was Ahri, Miss Fortune, Syndra, Ezreal and Soraka.
3rd video actually has some story and fills in a lot of lore around the Star Guardians. It was mainly about Neeko, Zoe, Xayah and Rakan who were the Ancient Star Guardians, Xayah and Rakan were destroyed by Zoe who turned to chaos, leaving only Neeko as the last Ancient Star Guardian who went into hiding. Zoe resurrected Xayah and Rakan to serve her purposes, Xayah accepts the chaos who believes that the First Star (source of the Star Guardians powers) abandoned them and she hates the Star Guardians who serve them, though she still has doubts about her motives, Rakan on the other hand seemed aware of what Zoe was doing and is biding his time to strike Zoe, but he can't do anything whilst darkness resides in Xayah's heart, he means to purify it first somehow. Video is basically them catching up to Neeko to take her down before the new Star Guardians can reach her, Zoe almost succeeds but not before Ahri reaches Neeko in time to help her. Ahri is seen holding some broken stars in hand in both the videos, those 3 broken stars used to belong to Zoe, Rakan and Xayah.
Makes sense that 3rd trailer has most story as that is the one that piqued our interest the most. Thanks for explaining the story for us 😀
I feel it should be mentioned how League of Legends works from a financial point to understand why these kind of trailers exist. LoL is a free to play game, so you download the client and play right away after creating your account. You dont HAVE to pay for anything in the game. But keeping servers running, paying people to fix stuff, for marketing, tournament price pools and of course new content there needs to be a certain income from this. One note before getting into details you can play certain hero for free and they rotate. Which meens they get locked after a specific amount of time (Heroes of the Storm did it weekly) and then there are new ones unlocked instead.
1st: You can unlock heroes by either collecting enough ingame currency or buy them with money.
2nd: Every now and then there is a new hero introduced who might be slightly better then any other hero for his field of play. Which encurages player who want to min. /max. to get this character as early as they can (by spending money).
3rd: Since its hard to think of a new character every month that plays different enough for players to actually want it you want to have a less work/ resource intensive way of making money.
This is where the seasonal event and these kind of trailer come into play. You take a character that you allready have and change up the costume. The level of detail is allready set, animations done and voice lines recorded. There might be some small details added and on top of that you can make multiple color variants, that are available seperatly or as a bundle. This is the stuff LoL puts out to make money. This is what i would consider a "normal" skin. Rare or Eoic skins might alter the model / voice lines / animations. The more changes the higher the price.
I am no League player but there might be a "lootbox" mechanic. You get a locked box, open it and get x amount items in different raryties. As i saw you can get hero or skin shards which will unlock this hero or skin for a short period of time. Then there is some sort of essence which is used to upgrade those shards to make the unlocks permanent. You can also "shred" a shard to gain said essence. It's also contained in the boxes to some degree and might even be a reward for event quests or quests in generell.
TLDR: Not all trailers are directly connected to the story some tell there own. Mostly to present new stuff to buy and also to keep a fresh feel to the game. Getting people exited about new stuff and even if its only the new spring collection is a way to keep players invested in your game. And people spend more money on things that make them happy.

You are correct. The lootbox system works in a way that if you play a champion good enough (there is a ranking system) you get a free lootbox. But to unlock said lootbox you need a key.
And to get a key you need to "get honored". After each game every player can give honor to one person on their team. There are 3 different "honors" as follows:
"Team Player / Friendly: you enjoyed playing with this person"
"Leadership / strategy: great shotcalling, was a team leader"
and
"Tilt proof / chill: Stayed cool and calm giving a positive playing experience"
If you get enough of these you get keyfragments and 3 keyfragments makes a key to open said box. You can also buy them for real money in the store (both boxes and keys).
Ahri talks about losing three team members and that she could not protect them. She has yellow blue and green destroyed stars in her hand. we have corrupted blue for Xayah corrupted green for Rakan because they were killed by Zoe, and yellow for thought to be killed Neeko (Neeko was not actually dead, just on the run and hiding). It's nice to see that Neeko can still camouflage as her former comrades when she still sees Xayah and Rakan as her allies despite being attacked by them.
Ahri had left was 3 pieces of broken gems from them. So while the others were having a party, Ahri was on a search for her lost comrades which would explain why she came alone to their rescue at the end of the "Light and Shadow" video.
Xayah thought Ahri and the others abandoned her and Rakan before they got killed. Using their anger to her advantage, Zoe then resurrected and corrupted Xayah and Rakan made them evil so they now help get revenge on all of the star guardians. However, Rakan is still aware of himself and able to heal the corruption to some degree. He is aware of what Zoe is really doing, so he is staying lokey until he takes action on Zoe.
As for Zoe, she decided that being a guardian was lame, so she uses her powers for evil.

So actually few skin have their own universe and lore aswell, star guardians have an enire different story, still some things remain the same but others changed, for example Lux and Jinx friendship, in Runeterra they never met before; while here they know eachothers. Example of Lore, in the Arhi video you see she is holding three stars, those should be Rakan, Xayah and Neeko stars, Xayah got corrupted by Zoe, Rakan followed for love and got corrupted aswell but actually he us playing double agent sort of as he slowly puryfing Xayah star using his, in fact he just followed to stay with Xayah, he hope that slowly one day he will save Xayah but he will get consumed by Darkness compleatly as their recall animations ingame show too, Neeko got captured but not yet corrupted.

Let me explain it real quick to you.
The starguardian universe is an alterlative Universe, it is like our real World but with supernatural beings. On one side there is the darkness or Void, there live creatures that attack the earth, on the other side there is the first star which wants to protect the earth. But the first star doesn't fight, it grants some human magic powers so that they can protect the earth. Those humans are called Star guardians and always work as a group of 5 members. In the first Video you see the group of Lux, Janna, Jinx, Poppy and Lulu. They are a new group only Janna is an older Star guardian but she never talked about her original Team members. They just started to fight the creatures of the Dark and Jinx causes some trouble but nothing huge. 2nd Video is about Ahri. Her original Team was Miss Fortune, Xayah, Rakan and Neeko, but the last 3 got killed by Zoe as far as she knows. She found 3 new members in Soraka, Ezreal and Syndra. While Soraka and Ezreals old teammebers died nothing is known about Syndras old Team and some speculate that Janna was Part of her old Team. Ahris new goal is not only to protect the earth but also other Star guardians. The 3rd Video is about Ahris old Team. Neeko didn't die she escaped Zoe and went into hiding but Zoe found her and tries to hunt her down. Zoe was one of the first star guardian but she claims that the first star lied to them and uses them, so she became a Dark star guardian. She has the abilitie to corrupt other star guardians. She killed xayah and Rakan back in the past and revived them, while xayah doesn't know that she got corrupted by Zoe, Rakan does and tries to find a way to betray Zoe so that Xayah stops being corrupted he would give his life for that goal. Now Zoe, Rakan and Xayah try to catch and currupt neeko, but ahri comes in the last Moment and safes Neeko. This year new stsrguardians and lore will be released and I can't wait for it since it is my favorite League universe

Rakan, Xayah, Ahri, Neeko (the chameleon girl running around) and Miss Fortune were in the same squad before. At some point Zoe, the little evil gremlin who's also an ancient guardian who went rogue, showed up in their lives and killed Xayah and Rakan while Neeko managed to get away. The charms Ahri had on her belonged to the three I mentioned prior with Neeko being missing and Rakan along with Xayah resurrected and corrupted by Zoe.
Rakan is aware of the situation they're in while Xayah is mostly blinded by hatred with it persuaded by Zoe's corruption. Rakan, who's not fully corrupted chose to bide his time, sacrificing to Xayah what's left of his light, the very thing that's kept him from fully corrupting, to Xayah in secrecy in hopes that it'll help to purifying her

In League there are many alternate universes where we see characters in different skins. Star Guardian is a universe that uses the genre of magical girls as lets say Sailor Moon Madoka magica and so many more
The story is a bit hard to follow without the pieces of lore that came with them, thats for sure in the second two cinematics
Many may have answered this but yeah, you have seen many of this characters in the canon lore of league before.
In the first one they show Lux, te pink guardian ( who is the blond girl from warriors, the one that throws the beam ) Jinx, and Poppy the blue guardian with the hammer (in the first part of the ruination videos) in this one they show us the typical story, a team of magical girls fighting evil, and their troubles (jinx and Lux fighting each other due to their inexperience etc) but coming together at the end and saving the day.
The second stars Ahri, a star guardian leader of her own group, but with other resolution than the naive Lux team. She wants to protect magical girls whose destiny is to "fight", and mourns her lost comarades (the three broken stars on her hand where theirs and now lost their light) at the end whe see her present team with some other champions you guys have seen before (like Ezreal form warriors, the indiana jones dude and Miss Fortune who has appeared in many actually, Tales of Runeterra: Bilgewater “Double-Double Cross” comes to mind )
And this is where it gets spicy, in the third one we learn that ahri lost friends didn't die, well they did Xayah and Rakan (you were right Ken) got corrupted by Zoe(the blue bad one) and they are brainwashed now and truly believe the star guardians are their enemies, a glimpse is there though. That Rakan is not as lost but went with it to protect Xayah and we see him many times in the video trying to save her and absorbing her darkness even when it hurts him. heartbreaking stuff. Neeko (the chamaleon girl, and ptrotagonist of the vid) is the third that was thought dead but actually went into hiding after the event of their "death"
Zoe caught up to her location and with xayah and rakan they are trying to catch her in this weird dimension place to corrupt her as well, in the last scene she was about to lose but Ahri comes just in time to save her, and rakan and xayah as well. it never scapes me how Rakan actually looks relieved to see Ahri there.
And you guys are just in time bc this year there is going to be a new star guardian event in league, so a new chapter of the story too

To explain this, neeko (the girl in the green suit, who is the yellow star guardian) is not scared of the statue, she is scared because the area it is in is the area at the beginning of the video, you can even see the feathers of xayah on the walls, neeko was running, suddenly she sees a light, a way to escape, and, oh surprise, she returns to the place she was running from

Something that I don’t want you guys to be confused on is that the covenant didn’t create the halo rings but it was forrunners mentioned few times. Forrunners don’t exist anymore because as planned, the rings killed them and the flood in there galaxy. The rings are made to do it again but to be activated by the humans again. Because of the floods eventual return. Because of the cosmic horror of the floods eventual which is very deep in lore which halo books talk about. Incredible books too.

Star guardian is one of the more popular skinlines in League. If I'm remembering correctly, it's in the top 3 of all skinlines in League by popularity.
A bunch of new star guardian skins are set to come out later this year, I believe around June/July, so only in a few months. If the trend continues, they'll release a cinematic to go along with it. Plus, I think there was a leak that around 10 new skins would be released. Some champions like Kai'sa, Ekko, Caitlyn, and Akali have been leaked to get star guardian skins,
