The build is totally cool and there are so many details that can not be overlooked. The water filtration system is one of those overlooked things but is also one of the most important! Very well thought out and it’s the last thing you would need is getting sick from drinking the water.

Congratulations on completing the build. The may sound odd, but as much as I'm looking forward to your travels, I'll miss the build videos. I'm sure you guys are glad to be done and heading out. It looks like a perfect time to be southbound. I noticed the 1st Gen Trooper your friend had. I bought one earlier this year and spent about 4 months getting it in good shape and then someone made me an good offer on it. I miss it, but on to the next project, 2002 Sequoia. Safe travels you guys, I'm sure it will be great.
The Sequoia sounds like a great big project! We have to admit, we fell into quite a fun routine at the shop and are missing the company of friends and family and the excitement of the build. However, what comes next we know will be so exciting.

As an 80 series guy, that thing is a beast. Definitely a fantastic platform to build a dream truck on. It's about the best option for a compact rig short of going huge with a Unimog.

What an incredible build, that's absolutely amazing! That last reveal edit of the blue stripe and decals was so sick, and it looks beautifully done. What are you guys thinking of for security on the road? I know a thief will eventually get what he wants if he tries hard enough, but do you guys have anything in place to try and prevent those things and deter those kinds of people?

Hey you two, (and your compadres) what an amazing rig you've built! Y'all seem pretty humble but I imagine you will have a LOT of overlanders checking out this awesome unit along the way. So you do have some great bragging rights. The coolest part is that it is "Built - not bought." Add to that if something breaks you've been working on it and will damn sure know how to fix it. Good on ye! Heh heh, you'll probably now have folks wanting you to build them one just like it. She's looking pretty good now. Have an awesome trip - we'll be taggin' along with ye. Looks awesome you guys! Anywhere you pass that fuel line for the diesel heater through a wall I would use a grommet or another hose around it to keep it from chaffing. That box for the pump is a great idea to keep the noise down, but I would either slip a hose around it or a grommet where it passes through the box so it doesn’t rub through going down the road.

Those heaters are awesome. I heat my house with 2 of them. Be sure to keep some spare parts handy. Extra pump and gaskets. Not sure why people complain about the noise. But to each his own.
