Good afternoon, Cal & Marie. It is Friday, and it is very warm outside right now, too hot for any soup although what I see you making does sound good for a rainy day.
My gardener is here, and I'm glad because he's doing my work for me.
We have a Chilis close by here too, but I don't think I'd go there unless I received a invitation to go with a group like you did with your family.

Hi Calvin and Marie,
I hope Marie feels better soon. The soup looks really easy to make. Maybe some Sunday i will make it for my son. My most favorite soup is Olive Garden's Pasta e Fagioli. My second favorite soup is tomato soup. And grilled cheese sandwiches go great with any soup! I need to learn how to make tomato soup from scratch.
My grandson had surgery yesterday. It is now after midnight. So he had surgery on Thursday. He is seven. He broke his arm and needed a screw. In four to six months the surgeon will remove the screw. He was in pain, but doing well according to my daughter.
I have only had bronchitis once and it really wiped me out. And it seemed like that cough lasted forever. So I really feel for Marie.

I am sorry, but I cannot use canned chicken for soup. It has to be a skinny rooster started in cold water with vegetables. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 3 hours. The bone marrow is what makes the soup an immune booster. 😊
