Pressurized Scepter Water Can

  • This is a pressurized water can that can be used to wash dishes, spray off sand, take showers or whatever you may need. Items used:
    -Scepter Military Water Can (MWC)
    -spigot with a 1/2" female end
    -male to female 1/2" adapter
    -1/2" PVC pipe that was cut to 18"
    -Screw on type Schrader valve
    -Compressed air source

    It is holding up very well. I do need to replace the rubber seal under the spigot. It is not UV resistant and it is already dry-rotting.

    I just picked up a Scepter to test both. It works about the same as the LCI. They both spew air out the seams after a certain pressure. I can't get my gauge to register to determine it exactly though.

    It is a Scepter. I haven't tried swapping the lids between a Scepter and LCI but they look to be about the same size.

    Cool. Great idea. How's it holding up? Could you put more air pressure? Were the seals still strong?

    Brilliant design.
    I was designing one with a hand pump similar to the Zodi Xtreme shower. I think I'll do one like this as well.
    Is your can Scepter or LCI?
