Jeremiah, I purchased a Kommoda on Black Friday and five weeks later my e-bike is still unboxed in the garage. It's cold here in Virginia and a emails I sent to Cyrusher regarding the battery was that I should bring the battery in. I just got that note and will do that in the next few days as temperatures climb. What I was hoping was to see you unbox the Kommoda. I know there are a few older e-bikers that give me confidence. I'm 78 and would like to be in a group of seniors.
Man that’s a tough decision. I like the performance, speed and longer range of the Ocelot pro but I do like the comfort of the kommoto. A good suspension post makes the Ocelot better but does make the min seat height higher with it.
The riding and talking to the external camera intro was a thing of beauty! The fact that you can do like 6 things at the same time without crashing is pretty impressive :P
Jeremiah, I was reading through all the comments and realized how much we viewers expect you to know. And then I realize how knowledgeable you really are! But, it has to be difficult when we ask you to compare one bike from another. Great job! 😊
Wow this is one appetizing bike and that colour is the best I have seem from any bike maker. Also, the camera angle showing the hill climbs is very informative. Most reviewers don't capture the gradient properly on hill. Nicely done!
I love your videos! Great bike ! Did you like the seat? Looks very cold 🥶 I like the handles too! Thsnks for having your wife sit on the bike. That helps us women get a good idea of the size. I did notice another guy reviewing this bike in orange and he scuffed the peddles right out of the gate.
Nice review, but commenting here on a suggested future E-Bike review as this here is your latest large E-Bike Review. Suggesting you review the Espin Nesta Folding E-Bike because it has a feature that I believe you would really like. For example, you are in PA 1, but you need/want a jump up in speed /acceleration, so you hit the throttle to go pass the 10 mph speed of PA 1 up to about 15-18 MPH momentarily. You then release the throttle and you slow down back to the PA 1 speed of 10 MPH. This is a great safety feature IMHO if you needed to go fast quickly in the easiest way possible to avoid being hit by another vehicle. OR just to cross a intersection faster without making any changes in pedal assist, gear change, or you leg cadence/ leg power. I think you'll agree that such a feature is a REAL PLUS. It is a Class 3 Bike, has really good components for the price, nice high end mph, plus some real balls to go uphill due to the high torque, gearing, and peak watts available combined with a great power to weight ratio. I would truly like for you to review this E-Bike for your take on it due to all the review experiences you have done on other E-Bikes. Take care, keep those reviews coming, -- really dug the fire pit review , boss. LOL !!! LJP
Great review! I’m in conflict between this and the Engwe x26. It seems the parts are more robust and upper class than the Engwe! But I have to love the extra speed + range + folding of the engwe X26. This is a happy medium though!
Purchased Cyrusher Kommoda, arrived a few days ago and have started to look it over . Noticed some things not covered in your or any other review. I have owned a few similar bikes and one thing I find need changing is the free wheel from the 14 tooth to a 11 tooth gear set. This Cyrusher Kommoda has the motor (Bafang?) power input on the on the left (opposite) side of all Bafang motors I have owned before. Power input does not run through a fastener. Seems to be a very interesting design change that is not compatible with pervious motors?
It’s going to depend on a lot of factors so you have to figure out what is best for you in terms of features, size, weight, speed, power, battery range and user controls and once you limit that down then it will be easier to narrow down which bike is right for you. I have many different videos on my channel that shows many different bikes and how they perform which should help you decide.
Oh I remember this ... Yeah it has the big forks that limit turning a little .. I saw this just before I ordered my bike. I decided to go with a bigger motor.
So the bikes already having issues on your test ride🤭Thanks for the highly detailed video on this bike .I love the color choices and the looks of this bike
Very nice looking E-Bike, perhaps a bit expensive compared to some other options. 74 lbs with battery. One important thing to note for carrying in your car: it doesn't fold.
Great Review as usual, Jeremiah. I'm about to pull the trigger on the Cyrusher Kommoda and was wondering if you ever got an owners manual for this bike. This will be my first E-bike so some instructions, etc. would be helpful.
I’ll have to look but pretty sure I did. You can also find it on their website. Here is the display manual cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0620/2140/2857/files/Kommoda-User-Manual-Cyrusher.pdf?v=1652944291
Even though my first gen Lectricxp is fine I think it’s time to treat myself to a new bike. How is the bike in comparison when it comes to acceleration and ride feel compared to a Lectricxp?
this looks like a really nice bike, but at double the price (almost) to the lectric xp 2.0 - features it adds, rear suspension, hydraulic brakes, adjustable steering column, larger capacity battery, 4" vs 3" tires, rear brake light. 26mph top speed vs lectric 28 mph with assist, or 22 mph throttle only. similar powered motors? i think they are both 750 watt or so. and the lectric is foldable and this one is not, could be a minus to some. but the comfort you mention, the smoothest ride of all the bikes you have, does that mean even with the suspension post and the cushy c9 seat you added to the lectric xp 2.0, that this bike is even more of a smooth ride? you sure seemed to be perfectly fine hopping all those curbs. as always great video, and i look forward to what you think of this bike in the coming months/year. thanks for sharing.
Well said….you have everything right except the Cyrusher definitely has a bigger controller and more power than the Lectric. I do feel it is more comfortable than Lectric 2.0 because it has more travel in the suspension.
I have had bad luck with hub motors reliability and overheating on hills with a heavy rider, would like to see a hill test to see if it will overheat and shut off or not. Never had an overheating problem with mid drive Bosch or Bafang.
Hello, thanx for the video. Is there a possibility to fix foot stics on the back of the frame to caree a child behind de seat ? And is it long enough to do it ? ✌️
Hello Jeremiah, You make super-informatively and genuinely honest e-bike reviews. As a lifelong cyclist, the e-bike is completely NEW territory for me. Since I moved to a city and sold my car years ago, I must find a great bike for $1,000 to deliver food. I must point out a safety feature I noticed at 6:09 minutes. One thing I didn’t get a chance to mention in the video is that this bike also has a walk mode and cruise control mode which works very well.
Hi how do you engage cruise mode ?
