Game actually looks insanely good. Rain time looks pretty realistic ngl. Just if the render distance was a little bit bigger.
It is very good it one for real bike fans though not a casual as it is challenging and will take a lot of practise and persistence to get up to race speed.

@@mintgoldheart6126 The bike handling feels a lot more like a real bike to me on TT3. Ride4 had to much over and under steer and not a lot of room for correction through the corners felt a bit disconnected from the bikes.
You can change render distance in settings
I thought I was alone in going from years of car racing games, going to a motorcycle racing game, and then having no idea how to not crash at every corner 😂
I actually find it's a bit easier to manage when you use the split brakes option 🤔
I swear the first couple of hours I played ride 4 for were 100x harder than beating elden ring I was not having a good time till I figured out the controls

There should be a career mode where you start on a 125cc and then as you progress you get to ride bigger bikes. So kinda like real life (well in Europe and UK at least).
Yup, TT Ride on the Edge 4 needs the Full IOM (1:1 GPS Accurate) with all the Roads Open, and a Campaign where you start as some local lad (or lass) with a tatty little Flat in peel and a beaten up old 1991 Aprilia RS125 their Da' gave 'em! Start right from the bottom!
Yes hopefully they add different classes to the game atm it’s got supersport and superbikes, you can switch between the seasons easily so it be easy for them to add more

I think this is the only open world map with reaslistic width lanes. Would be amazing to be able to drive a car around there! Really have hopes for TDUSC

It's good to see these developers continue with TT2's free roam mode with TT3, this time with the Isle of Man map. Looks cool.
Not the same developers tho, this one is made by Raceward (studio who made RiMS Racing), the previous titles were made by Kylotonn (the ones who made WRC games), you can tell raceward knows how to do bike games, they are so good
Been waiting for this game, good to see it has a free roam aspect.
Yes it’s well thought out you can just go straight to the events from the map screen as well you don’t have to physically ride to them all if you don’t want to.
Game changer, as far as free roam! Heads straight to an event, and loves the fact you can enter events from the map! Bikes are 10x better than cars, but name 1 bike game road or off road that comes close to any car racing game!!!
Ride series is by far the best bike games, and I'd still prefer to play gran turismo 2

As someone born and raised in IOM I'd highly recommend visiting! One of the most beautiful and unique places!

Yes Ride is the modern Tourist Trophy. That game was great but if you go back and play it now, it is a bit outdated. The TT games are now my current favorite, with Ride series close behind.

The roads must be nice to host a bike race on the whole island
I was over there on my bike about a month ago. There is no comparison between English roads and the tarmac over there. There are some really bumpy sections, but the course itself is generally lovely to ride. Did some roads that aren't on the TT circuit and they were fine too. Didn't see a single pot-hole while I was over there - England could learn a lot from the IOM road workers!
The roads here are generally pretty poor but they like to re-tarmac some of the roads along the TT corse every year to keep them looking and riding fresh.
I've been to the Isle of Man around 8 times now and you really do need to go. I recommend staying near Douglas for the hype of the racing but if you are looking for the night life go to port Erin which is on the west side of the island and is further away from the TT race course
I've played alot of ride 3 and ride 4, and what helped me alot with the turn in delay from the rider shifting weight and body position was rolling the analog stick around the outside. So I'd hold it forward while accelerating and roll it to the left or right like this 🔄. When braking I'd hold the stick downward and roll it to the left or right. It helps alot with wide turns where just alittle leaning is needed. Take some getting used to but made my lap times much faster, braking much shorter, and leaning much smoother.
You really just need to be smoother with the analog is all .
@@D3C-TH3_F4LL3N yeah of course, I was just saying what I do cuz with playing alot of car games, I have the habit of flicking to steer, and on bikes I like holding forward to tuck and lean back when braking so rolling just makes the small adjustments easier for me. May help others may not. To each is own
@@08Ducati848. aaahhh, I play F 1 with no TCS and using that tech does help . I don't do it though . I have good control, but it is definitely good advice for those that struggle. You play GP as well as ride ?
@@D3C-TH3_F4LL3N I haven't played any of the GP games, I've thought about getting GP22 but never got around to it. I am getting the new "Isle of man TT: ride in the edge 3" cuz its got free roam on the island which looks fun. I have played one of the F1 games before which was pretty cool, I think it was F1-2021 but not sure. I believe it was a demo, or maybe on Xbox gamepass.
The Isle of Man is in the UK, looks like a good game, I have the original and I have some fast times on there having learned the whole circuit in detail now after hundreds of laps, nothing else compares for sheer terror, the sense of speed is insane, how the guys do this for real is beyond me

A modern day Road Rash but like the 3D version where you can choose a bike gang to be a part of with a clubhouse and customization of bikes and weapons, with open world mechanics. I think if done right, would be worth a go.
I've been waiting to enter a fully 3d Panzer Club again. The camera has to hit the helmet again and make it spin. I spent summers playing that game. 2 whole summers.

With this game remember to turn slightly earlier than the corner to allow your rider to lean fully into it. People often panic at speeds too, just take it easy and remember small adjustments, not big

Just imagine, Milestone bringing us something like this, a free roam map, with all those sick and detailed bikes. it'd be lovelying. Kinda Forza Horizon / The Crew Motorfest thing.
Now if they would just make a Ride game with freeroam in the mountains of Cali or somewhere with a mix of everything. Like Forza Horizon but for bikes.

Hi can you tell if this bike game lets you remap Accelerate / Braking / Steering to your D-Pad and is there Driver Assistance for the bike and Auto gears? I’m disabled so I can only use the D-Pad
something looks so much cooler to me when its a real location / map then a video gamey designed map something hits different about it

I’m from the Isle of Man. It’s cool to have games on the tt races. But I don’t get how they manage to create 3 games about the same course. The free roam seems like a cool concept, even though it doesn’t allow you to explore the whole island
The games are more about road racing than just IoM TT, but I guess they wanted to brand the game that way. The games feature multiple tracks and courses. I wish it featured more (road) tracks still, as it seems limited to just UK. I find more replay value in these games than the motogp ones.

This game looks really fun
Actually the sense of speed in this game is one of the best I've ever experienced in any racing game. Ever. Especially the sense of acceleration. First try to go at about 50-60 km/h for a couple of minutes. Not very hard to maintain it with analog stick on a controller, not on a keyboard. Then as soon as you see a relatively straight part of road ahead - just apply full freaking throttle! and enjoy the closest to the real thing feeling of acceleration and speed! Wow! The creators did a very good job of this particular part of a racing game.
I'm late to this, but imagine if they'd added regular road bikes to ride around the map when you're not racing, especially cruisers. That would've been cool.

I've played many motorcycle games in my day, but none have ever felt to me like that game did I'm interested to see how this game feels. Imagine if Gran Turismo 7 came out with a Tourist Trophy DLC. 🤔

I've always said if they could make a combination of ride 5 and forza horizon but with bikes, or even both bikes and cars but open world and insane graphics either forza style sim physics....that would be epic
Should be downshifting around corners mixed with braking once you hit the sweet spot..
they need to bring a motorcycle game out that allows you to have free roam and customization as well... lowering, stretching, fat tires, custom paint and graphics, performance upgrades... that would be sick but i dont see anybody focusing around the bike world... unless it is track racing

I love motorcycle games but unfortunately there's not a lot of them so I had to choose cars games since there are tones of them

The game looks amazing and I blows AAA bike racing games out of the water and the visuals look so good. I forgot to mention that braking in this game feels almost like it in real life. You got to get used to it.
