I've always struggled with stress and anxiety, but have just found landscape and nature photography. It's forced me to slow down and I've actually felt 'happy and relaxed' for the first time in years. Great video, this might just be addictive!

I have gotten so much from you. I've gotten the kids to go out at 3am. They Loved it , nature awoke and they experienced it. They have gone out again, it's like waking them for Christmas. Not that that's ever had to be done. With just a whisper and a light touch and we're in the car. Images are garbage but the memories are Priceless.

That's a great comment! It's all about the experiences.

"Images are garbage but the memories are Priceless." Well said and my sentiments exactly, that's how my fishing use to be and now trying my hand at outdoor photography. Practice and hopefully the memories become priceless images too.

I totally agree with you. One of my favorite parts of photography is getting out in nature, away from people, and just hearing the sounds of my surroundings. No earbuds, no conversations, just peaceful. Thank you for your videos, you make beautiful images!

This video has completely changed my attitude to photography. I was a happy snapper with pretensions of being half decent. This weekend I turned my camera to manual, LOOKED at the image I wanted to capture and set about creating that image. I slowed down and took far fewer shots, but they were all considered with adjustments made after looking the result. I enjoyed my three hours in Matlock Bath far more because I took my time. Thank you Thomas.

Hi again Thomas after voicing your concerns with the stresses of your channel and the haters and bad comments i just wanted to say that you nail it. You engage, share, provoke thought, show emotion and most if all show amazing images and how you got them which added together does nothing but inspire us to try again and appreciate your time and effort producing these film gems. Thank you. This was stunning and so was the image.

You are so right! In the past I went around take a picture and move to the next location. Now I take my time, go around, sometimes just stand there and take all in. Then when I am feeling it take my picture. Thank you Thomas!

Thank you very much for giving me the right attitude & mind set so that my shooting will change from today. Normally I'm full on. Non stop walking, shoot, look for the next shot, shoot, go home. Never again. I found this video only a short while ago but thanks to you my attitude is better focused now on the important part of photography. Enjoy, patience, relax. Thank Thomas. Neville.

Thank you Thomas, I have learn and enjoy a lot from your creations (this video and the photo) and I would say the biggest treasure started on 11:22.
"... ... it doesn't matter. I got what I came for, I've a very nice morning and I can enjoy the rest of the day now, knowing that I've created something and my time has been well spent. " - Thomas Heaton
I just hope more people would learn and apply this in life, knowing and understand why we come for in life, then be patience and do our very best to pursuit for it. When it's time for us to depart, we can proudly say "I got what I came for, and my time has been well spent."

Your videos are just sublime. They have transformed the way I see things. Even driving up the A1 today. I kept seeing groups of trees that just screamed Autumn. Also every now and then there would be a group with a silver Birch in front of them like a beacon . That just demands to be photographed. I would not even have noticed this if I had not watched your videos. Thank you.

I am an ER doctor and every day i have to deal with the job's stress, human pain and chaotic, bad situations. Unfortunately when i end my shift i carry with me a big chunk of thepast day's stress which even if i go out to take some photos the chaotic situation comes with me and it's difficult to concentrate, relax and get rid of it. You have the gift to transmit calm and order to other people and you really help me get rid of my mind's "noise". Keep up the great job and keep inspiring us!

The drone work(and I know nothing abut drones) looks amazing. The smooth steady flight between the trees and branches is something. The high arial views are something most of us mortals never used to see. They are mesmerizing to me. This vid reminded me that I took a shot three yrs. ago that I need to re-visit. One bush of beautiful color after ten miles of ATV riding. I hope it is still there.

This is probably my toughest lesson. I have always been that guy that when there is work to be done i get after it immediately and i don't waste time. I like to complete my work quickly and efficiently. I have got to learn to slow down and be patient when taking pictures and video. Its very difficult but when i do slow down my work is FAR better. My pictures are much more clear and sharp when im able to just chill out and relax enough to get great shots. I'm learning slowly but surely. Thank you for your tutorials and photography lessons. I really enjoy them and I've learned a lot from you. You've influenced my photography and drone video more than you'll ever know. 😁👍
