I've been so tempted by either a Ripper 2 or the Zion Slalom. Tested both out recently and really liked them. But this video is making me want to re-evaluate my Party Rexy again. It's just the rounded edges I'm not so sure about when I go from my playboat into the Rexy, since I feel I have to re-adjust my paddling style each time.
@@SunkHD There are elements that I like better on the Zion Slalom. The rocker rides up and over everything, and it holds its speed much better, and it's noticeably faster all round. I also like the edges on it better. The only thing I don't like is that it feels much narrower and it's harder to tailie.
I think it really comes down to what you're going to be paddling. If you want maximum play, go for the Party Rexy. For maximum downstream performance, the Zion is amazing.@@SunkHD

I've never tried to hide that. I regularly make posts thanking Exo and Flow kayaks for supporting me. It has been mentioned that I could have touched on that in the video but I honestly feel a bit silly saying "I'm sponsored". Also, every word in this video is 100% honest and I think, if you watch the whole thing, that you'll find I make a couple of criticisms regarding the outfitting. No need for passive aggressive comments, a simple friendly note will do. I'm working on a Zion slalom review and if you like I'll shout and scream about the discount I receive? 🤷♂️

Switch boats more by paddling more, that will help 😉
