    I am Ecuadorian....there are so many ways to do it ..it depends on each family but for an Expat it was great!!! you did it just right....

      Thanks Tricky! I've had quite a bit of help from my Ecuadorian partner on this. I now consider my bolones better than hers (she would disagree lol). But, tigrillo remains my favorite verde dish.
