- The Videos shows how to change your self a Battery on a Suunto D6i Divecomputer.
!!!!!! Warning!!!!!!! changing the battery is on your own risk!
Suunto recommends highly to change also the O-Ring for the battery cover.
I never done this, and it works always for me.
You need really to check the O-Ring.
But its on your own risk.
There are original complete Battery Kits from Suunto available, so may ask your next Suunto Dealer.
If you looking only for a battery, then look here

My D6i did not come with philips scrues - but a torx T5.
Nada feito. O meo D6i tem bateria cr2450N. Que tem diametro menor em baixo. So cr2450, não da.
Thanks, but you skipped over the silicone lube for the o-ring part too quickly. I have no idea what you did there.
Thanks for your comment, I use silicon grease that I get with my underwater housing from my camera. Just take a little bit grease on your fingertip and move the oring then in between two fingers.. you need just a very thin film of grease
@@scubagadgethouse4755 Perfect, thank you!
Did you replace the o-ring or reuse the old one? And yes, would have been nice if the "greasing" part was on camera.
No I don’t replace the O-ring. But it’s not recommended at all. It’s totally on personal risk.
The greasing is so simple, just put a tiny little bit of grease on your fingertip, then rotate the O-ring between two fingers.
Could you please tell me the size of the screwdriver? Thx
Hm, that’s difficult. I think I don’t have them anymore… it’s was a set like this amzn.to/3APckfE .
But I am not 100% sure, but I think later generations had different screws. Think later Suunto uses Torx.
