I like the overall feel of the home but there are couple of aspects that don't work for me. First the kitchen with the small pantry. I know they had to make room for the next gen but that pantry is just way too small. My family loves to cook and there isn't enough room for all the food staples. Second is the next gen closet/laundry room. It's very convenient for the next gent to have it's own washer/dryer but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have it in the closet. The humidity levels from the washer may cause mold if there isn't adequate ventilation. And the carpet... Every house I've lived in had tile, linoleum or wood floors in the laundry room. Laundry room floors get dirty so carpeting would not be such a great idea. It would've been better if they placed it off the kitchen somewhere.
Agree with everything you said. I’ve shown this homes a few times and the comment I hear the most is the pantry is in an odd location. As far as venting goes they do have a ceiling vent but agree with everything else.
@@kimiireneginn8097 it appears that both Lennar and D.R. Horton has new builds in Washington. I don't know if they have it in the suburbs. But you can check their direct websites and it should show you a map of their builds. I personally prefer D.R. Horton builds as opposed to Lennar but both are good.
LOL I filmed this a while ago and yes since then I’ve said those things since. They just can’t add the oven and stove as it would no longer be zoned for single-family. That being said I’m not saying you can’t add them later on after closing…

I love everything about this house except the non soft closing, no stove hood, ultra small kid bedrooms, small pantry and short ceilings. Otherwise this is an amazing house for sure.
