- In today’s video, we toured Lennar homes largest plan in this collection is a Next Gen® two-story home and features an attached private suite with its own separate entrance, living room, breakfast nook, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. In the main home is an open living space on the first floor while upstairs is a cozy loft and four bedrooms.

House is perfect in the Orlando/Miami areas because cost of living so high, you can easily rent the extra space out
Love the house with the inlaw suite thats what we call them😁 but i still want my master bedroom on the bottom floor, stairs is no good when you are getting old😂, looking forward for more layout and model homes. Thanks Kaleb🙏🏼
Yes I agree 100%! I love, love, love it, but as a retirement home, stairs are no good and that's the only con. Would have loved to see a 3-car garage at this price point.
I agree completely. I really love it overall, but I don't like, that aside from the in-law suite, EVERY other bedroom is upstairs. And personally, I always like to see a 3-car garage, but that's besides the point.
Wow! That is a great home set up for having mother/family suite, college grad young adult return home or just private guest suite. Wow! I love it!

Omg I love that. That’s perfect for in-laws! Also can use as an Airbnb when there are no visitors.
Just for information Airbnb are subject to HOA approval and many HOA will not approve to have an airbnb partial or entire home.
One of the nicest homes recently in layout thank you Kaleb. In the current market that is a decent price for 5 beds and 3k+ sq feet. Good idea to have the separate entry.

This is a good setup for a family that can include the grandparents. Although their suite has no stove, they could have a one-burner induction hotplate and a toaster oven to prepare their own meals. Because the suite is just inside the front door, I'm not sure that the separate entrance is necessary. Nice staging!

Bob, the separate entrance makes sense for privacy for homeowner and guests. Guests can access home without entering the main house after quiet time. The interior door makes sense too for the same privacy reasons.
Facts
I like the separate entrance because this suite can be used as a rental or for adult children/in-laws. It’s a perfect 2-n-1 home.

Really nice for extended family living.
It's beautiful shown throughout the house is beautiful; and it is awesome to have that separate living area with the kitchen nook 👀 looks like can be used as a studio apartment for older family member or can be used for visitors or guest visiting/vacationing or persons can choose to rent out if wanted or needed extra monies for some fair reason.
I have been looking at next-gen homes for The Last 5 Years, I prefer the smaller 2000 to 2600 square foot homes in a ranch-style setting, Lennar quit building nexgen in my area last year, I went and looked at a 2,000 square-foot Richmond American Multi generational which is like a next-gen. Where I think both Builders miss it, is they need to have a full kitchen, not a kitchenette in the next-gen suite. If you don't have family in the house and you want to rent the suite, it needs to be fully functional.
It may go against code to have another stove/oven in the house. I know in my area (Maryland), that’s the case. I’ve seen renovated basements that have it, but I’m pretty sure that it was done without proper permits.
I agree need a full stove/oven in the suite otherwise it wouldn't work for me.

I actually have the idea of a 2 unit home. Possibly where the upstairs will be a whole other home with stairs outside for entrance. There will be an entrance that will connect U 2 either house though, inside as well. I 💘 it, wonderfully nice.

No, this is not the biggest Next Gen home built by Lennar. Mine in ChampionsGate is, as it’s 3800+ sq. ft., 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bath, 3 car garage (2 separate garages on either end of the home).

500,000 for a tight fit. Maybe it is the market in this area and this is a good value but in my area this is over-priced for what you get. Silly things were made poor for the saving of a handful of pennies, like the back porch. The table can't be used. If you sit on the side next to the glass no one can get around and you can't even sit in the chairs on the other side. adding 30 inches to this area in width solves that and as there is nothing above but a roof, that would not be expensive.
I was not crazy about three seating areas in the kitchen, two dining tables and an island close enough you could touch all three and they each had different styles of table and chairs, just looked chaotic. The front door looked like it was going into a storage locker - ugly, and the hall after it was tight and uninviting. The stairs dump right on the door step opposite another ugly front door.
This house looks like one of those cookie cutters dashed out on an assembly line, not something worth buying for half a million.

I toured one of these homes that was being constructed in Kissimmee and let me tell you the construction was so poor, if I was the homeowner that was purchasing that home I would be pissed….the model was ok because that’s how they suck you in but it’s a no go….overpriced classic cookie cutter Florida house. I actually vowed never to buy a pen at home ever, that’s how bad it was!

We l bought Lennar Home in Visalia California. When we moved to Gulf Breeze Florida, we really hoped to find a Lennar Home again but unfortunately Lennar doesn’t build homes out here. We loved every thing about our Lennar Home we had in Cali . Wish they start building some homes out here soon .

How customizable are Lennar homes? I Love the mini side home and would need two of them one on each side of the home, but would like an entirely different floorplan for the main home. Is this something that could be built with this home builder?
