Installing CarPlay using the CarABC adapter is pretty simple and should take less than an hour. You will only need some basic tools such as a plastic pry tool and screwdrivers. Once installed you can use your existing stereo to have carplay without the hassle or replacing the head unit.

Hey thanks for the guide. I’m thinking about buying this. But would appreciate some clarity on something:
does the backup camera still pop up automatically when the car is in reverse like it should? Or do you have to manually press the camera button after going in reverse? 5:30

Great video Josh! That unit looks nice but every one of the CarPlay and AndroidAuto units I've looked at don't work with XM radio. Sure, you can use the XM app, but when you don'tb
have mobile phone coverage, you're SOL. Do you know if this unit al.ows for XM from the factory radio while using CarPlay or AndroidAuto?
