HP22a all day long. Just as reliable and higher mag capacity. Range Kit w/5 in barrel makes it a killer on the targets. Mine is accurate, all rounds in a 4 inch group at 75 yards. Nice little plinker and VERY discreet EDC.
Very dangerous putting ear protection on with a loaded gun in your hand and your finger on the trigger while pointing the gun in the general direction of your head 😩😩
The Phoenix is a decent little gun. My only complaint about it is that it has too many safeties. (If that's possible). The Beretta is perhaps a better quality pistol but it also costs more. When I was in the gun business we sold quite a few Phoenix HP-22's
I like my hp22A especially the price! I bought the target barrel and magazine from Phoenix, they have great customer service. I Haven’t made a solo video of the HP22A with regular and target barrel. It’s something I will get to soon! The beretta has been with me for a long time, I’m quite used to it’s likes and dislikes thus far. Been looking for another, but they are a bit expensive and out of reach because of our CA Roster:(
HPs rear sight is adjustable. When you get your target barrel you're going to have to dial the sight in for each barrel length. It's a great gun never jammed on me with any ammo. Maybe a primer not igniting but I blame the ammo. Only thing about ammo is it won't fit the longer chambered 22 like Stingers in the chamber.
IDK Seems like the Phoenix is better. at the ending when he shoots both, the Phoenix looked like it had less recoil, anyone see that? Plus you can change barrel to a 5 inch and maybe that would improve it more. Not sure if anyone knows please let me know.
You should have sighted in the guns and known for sure where they were hitting, The Beretta had several failures and the Phoenix had none so my vote goes to the Phoenix.
I have one of the Phoenix HP 22A when you put the range kit the longer barrel and the longer Mag extension it feels more like a real gun in your hands instead of a little toy and it actually shoots better

I've owned both and I like the HP22 better. The trigger on it was much better than any 22 pistol I have owned.

There are ways to defeat one of the biggest issues with the Phoenix.. the mag safety scenario
It's true, it does have a lot of safeties, 3 to many
@@savagedad7847 yes i have a replacement mag safety and one that eliminates the mag safety

The 5 inch barrel in fact does improve better.
@@joshuabrown9534 I d o have the 5" barrel and extra mag that Phoenix sells. it does help with better accuracy

The Phoenix any magazine can fix on it

Straightforward and good video. No biases, just shooting. My HP22A just came in today!
Thank You for your comment! I'm also waiting on my 5" Barrel and Extra Magazine I ordered from Phoenix Arms' website. Its currently on back order:(
HP 22 A is a great firearm and half the price of the Beretta
Phoenix looks good except trigger
Got both love it
The shooter is the problem. Waste of 4 minutes here.
