The vary first hose I removed on the vary back of the air box is the transmission breather hose that will be cut vary short and a gas cap vent nipple installed so transmission can still breath and keep containments out. The last hose I took off on the air box was the right crank case breather hose and that will be cut back 2-3inches and installed with a small air filter breather vent. The bars are great. Put mine on a couple of weeks ago. You will have to do a little light sanding on the choke levers inside diameter and apply some plastic safe grease. It wants to stick because of the texture of the bars.
They do look pretty sweet. Did you try applying and lubricants to the handlebar and choke before sanding or is the paint on the handle bars just to thick? Thank you for the tip
@@rideordie6886 it's the paint. It has a texture to it. If you don't mind running your grips a little short it will fit on the glossy portion which slides much better. The only real down side to the bars is the parking brake. I have tweaked mine quite a bit and it doesn't want to sit anywhere except the bend.
Looking forward to the contra springs and variator weights install as well. Do you know how many grams they are? I see MNNTHBX are using 11 grams for theirs.
You can also remove the cap covering the idle (air) mixture screw.(I used a dremel thin disc to cut straigiht through that cap (careful, here...), then managed to get the two parts out). This uncovers the idle air mixture screw, which has a frickin' 'D' head (I also disc-dremeled this one, making it easy to adjust using a simple small flat-type screwdriver. I have no idea what the factory setting was originally, I'll try 2 turns out and see what happens (bike is brand new, no mods, and yet to be immatriculated. I'll keep it stock but richen it a bit as they're said to run lean : a .5 mm shim under the needle, and a tiny tightening of that air screw should make it good.. Not to forget :this is an AIR flow screw, not a fuel one, so rich= tighten, lean = loosen it. UPDATTE : Looks like some Navis rather run rich, stock ! If so with mine, I'll skip the needle shimming, and open up the air screw a bit. Thanks for your first video, too !
you need to maintain air/fuel ratio. so adding an intake you should add a step up from factory and when adding performance exhaust (less restrictive) causes raises motor to run hotter and more fuel is need to compensate, hens larger jets. more air more fuel the faster you need the exhaust to escape. if you have factory exhaust on go with 88 main jet
Question, I have an aftermarket exhaust GY6 from Amazon but what I did was cut the stock exhaust at the end and used the original header which is very slim pipe and adapted the aftermarket exhaust to it at the end. Do I use the 90 or the 88 in this case. Thanks"
Your videos are amazing thank you so much for the content! I was wondering if you knew the details of the 88 jet? Like brand and model? The kit I have has the 38 pilot but mains are in increments of 5 and I don’t have exhaust yet so I don’t want to put the 90 on. Trying to find just 88 jet online. Thanks!
I’m sure with the more intake more fuel and less restrictive exhaust now (Yoshimura) definitely has more performance. And with the tires on the way I’m sure to get 3-5mph more or if the Navi.
When changes in air density are significant the main jet will need to be swapped. And with doing so more air, more gas, less restrictive exhaust. Yes the 85 and 90 supplied should be just fine. But with out a fuel air ratio gauge on your exhaust it will be hard to judge. When you Purchase your exhaust get one with a bung or you might have to weld one in. I do know they have self tapping bungs as well.
Hello, I am from Colombia, and I want to make the filter change, but I do not know how to order the kit. And carburetor spare parts. I thank you for your help. Thank you
Would love to see what exhaust you put on it. I hate how my muffler sticks out so far to the side. I need to do the jet kit with the intake cause it just doesn’t keep speed going up hills. Would also like a little more accleration out of it. Subscribed! Will be looking forward to more videos.
Me too, definitely hot to trot on the exhaust. Well changing your roller weights will help with acceleration but you lose in top end by doing so. It’s a little 110cc mini remember
@@rideordie6886 I am no expert, but I believe the needle controls the mixture from off idle to just before WOT. So you enriched the idle circuit and the main jet enriched WOT. Mid-range is still stock.
if I modify my navi and use this exact same setting, I already order the parts jets and everything, what kind of exhaust should I have to use? I dont know a thing about exhausts, carburators or anything related to motorcycles, but im planning on really tuning the appearance on my navi, im looking for a mad max looking bike, and im also going to get a custom exhaust made for it, but, do I have to have some sort of special settings or things to have in mind? im such a noob, thank you so much for this videos.
Hey Terry, thanks for watching! Lucky for you I already did a handlebar removal/install video if you haven’t seen it yet… m.th-cam.com/video/cugKzCYWPTc/w-d-xo.html
Can I cut that intake tube? Say around the bend so the filter isn't turned out to the left.
You can do whatever you would like just make sure you don’t have your rear fender off because the intake will be getting a bunch of crap all over it!
All of it
Is this the Keihin PZ19 carburetor? I’m looking to buy the slow and main jets on Amazon.
Great job, got to go with the handlebars and grips!!!!
Thank you airgunner.
Hola buenas tardes crees poder darme el link donde puedo conseguir el producto que muestra en el vídeo gracias
What is that small tube in the rear at 6:57? What did you use to cap it? Does anything need to be done to it or do you just tuck it out of the way?

The overflow tube is the other side connected to anything?
There might be a Crome looking clip that might hold the end from not just flopping around, but I wouldn’t worry to much about

Do you think the jet supplied with the intake should be enough to add a full exhaust onto?
