You dont let anyone use your chainsaw because they will dull your blade. With what ive seen your chain is about as dull as it can be. There are no chips in that dust. Chris in the wood yard shows guys how to sharpen your chain with a dremal and a 3 pack of bits for 6 bucks. This method he uses is fast and good for the new chainsaw guy who cant hand file yet well.
I thought it looked super dull as well. My Ego electric saw would cut faster than that Stihl right now!

Ok bud here’s the deal, NEVER TUCH THE CHAIN WHILE THE SAW IS ON! There is literally never a reason to do that, ever. It’s super risky especially because over time those breaks come loose or the idle speed increases and you don’t want to have that habit. As pointed out above sharpen that chain and your job will be much easier and safer. 👍
