      It would be even cooler if you didn't keep fish in captivity, because they hate it.

    • @VisceralFossa
      @VisceralFossa ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@DA-js7xz I would agree, but I doubt the fish they have are wild-caught, or belong in the wild, for that matter. Most fish that people adopt are captive-bred and know nothing about survival in the wild, and also aren't native to where they are being sold, meaning that if this person released their fish into the wild, they could become invasive. Not to mention, that since the fish probably have their own little social groups in the aquariums, they could get separated from the other fish. So then not only would the fish be thrown in an environment where they don't fully know how to survive and they could be easily killed in, but they would be lonely too because they just got separated from their little fish group and there are no other members of their species in that area. Doesn't sound that ethical the more you think about it.
      Also, I hate to break it to ya bud, but you can't exactly say for 100% certain that all fish hate being in captivity. Have you ever spoken to a fish? Can you communicate with them on some level that other humans can't? No? Then you cannot say for certain what they feel, only they could, and they sadly do not have the capability to speak to us, therefore shutting down any and all possibilities of complex communication between us and them.
      Plus, I think logically they would rather live in a (albeit rather cheap, usually) recreation of what their ideal environment should look like that has members of their species, food, and plenty of shelter, than live in a dangerous environment where they don't know how to find members of their species, food is rather scarce, they have to find shelter, and they could get killed at any moment.

    How do they filter out their own noices? Like the cameraman swimming and breathing? Isn't that really difficult because the sounds are never 100% same? And while filtering it, aren't they filtering some fish' sounds too?
