Aloha Phil, please tell us more about that original card game! Was the inventor inspired by that card game The Warning plays in Que Mas Quieres? #Philberto #APDVillaReality
STEEEEEEVE WHERE ARE YOU He did say he wasn't selling them, due to name and imagery copyright stuff and whatnot. He just made them for fun and to give to the band.
Hey @genboyer - thanks for asking about the card game! As Phil mentioned the cards are full of proprietary images because I wasn't concerned with copyright issues since there are only two copies of the game in existence: My prototype (shown here) and the final game given to the band. I had brought it to the Meet & Greet to have the girls sign my copy. They haven't played it yet, but Rudy promises it's on their list of things to do!
Dany and Rudy actually keeping and wearing Phil's gifts speaks volumes about their mutual respect. In a Patreon livechat, TW said they usually have to leave most of their gifts behind, or give them away, because they can't travel with too much. But Dany and Rudy posted pics wearing Phil's gifts in Mexico and around Canada, meaning they actually kept them. You love to see it. One of the many examples of how TW and their team are such an amazing group of real, down to earth people.
Lzzy loves Dany like family. She has said so many good things about her and how much she got inspired to Rock again. She is basically the big sister of The Warning and Halestorm is probably the band that supports The Warning the most. Hopefully we’ll see them sing together one day, last week Dany played a solo part of a song with them on stage live.
It’s no wonder they get along so well; Lzzy and Dany seem very similar- aggressive as hell onstage, nicest person on Earth offstage. I suspect that Dany won’t do quite as many collaborations with other bands as Lzzy, though - at least, without bringing her sisters along for the ride.
Lzzy and Halestorm are amazing! Lzzy and brother Arejay (the drummer) founded the band in 1997. First female-fronted band to be nominated for and win Grammy for best hard rock/metal performance. Super supportive of Dany and TW, Lzzy's like a big sis to them now! Thanks for sharing this awesome experience with us, Phil and wife!🤘
Funny...I was an Evanescence, then Halestorm fan first, which helped me found The Warning. 🤔. I love all three bands so much. I think I rotate through a few of their CDs every week. Thank you so much for sharing your concert experience with us. So exciting!!!!❤
Wow, I love this. All 3 of the most beautiful and powerful Rock Queens in the whole world of Rock. Lizzy Hale, Amy Lee, Dany, Pau and Ale. These 5 beautiful ladies are the TOP ROCK QUEENS in the world of Rock today!! I love it! 😎👑🫶✌️🔥💥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Totally agree that The Warning's opening sets are too short, but man are they ready to go hard from the first note of S!CK. I also really enjoyed Lzzy's set, it was different from the vocals that I usually enjoy but her getting into it so hard made it so much fun. Amy is Amy, but I found the sound mix from Evanescance (and Halestorm to a lesser extent) was just a touch loud in not the way you want. Lalo's mix with DPA was perfect, very loud, but incredible clarity across the board. Dany is so welcoming in the M&G and I'm glad they recognized (and appreciated) you! Charles is scary until you meet him and then he's so chill isn't he? Wish you were there at the Toronto show, such big step up from my first show back home. The feeling in the crowd up front when we found out Apologize was on the setlist...
Based on this video I'd have to agree. Halestorm and Evanescence just sound like a muddy mess with a loud vocal over the top. The Warning sound great (as usual). Lzzy has a great voice but all the vocal gymnastics live wear thein on me very quickly. And Amy just sounds bland these days to me. You can tell the voice is still in there but it just doesn't shine like it used to.
Those shirts are awesome Phil. Your lucky to get to see them actually wearing it. That's bad ass. When I gifted them shirts, I made sure they all got one, including the crew! Mony helped me with the sizes as I didn't have a clue for anyone's preference. DPA all like casual shirts one size bigger. ⚡
Awesome video recap.. so glad I was able to see it as well, and it was a pleasure to meet you and the Mrs. made my first Warning live experience one to always remember. Keep up the great work!
So jealous I couldn't make this show - huge fan of all of these bands! And yes, you seriously need to deep dive into Halestorm. They are an absolutely incredible band!
The Pretty Reckless with Taylor Momsen (“Make Me Wanna Die” from the movie Kick A$$) playing before the show is who The Warning w/ Dany’s vocals reminded me of the first time I heard them (especially S!ck)
I was thinking how awesome would it be to see The Pretty Reckless, in This Moment and The Warning in one show. Trouble is, who would headline, or would they offer each band the same amount of time to play and kick our butts?
The only time I got to see The Warning was their first show on tour with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless (I think Lilith Czar as well). Taylor got Covid though and wasn’t there. It was disappointing. But the rest of the show ruled. It’s where I discovered The Warning. This year I saw this show that Phil just saw, but In this moment was in instead of the Warning
Halestorm's first album came out in 2009. Halestorm is one of my favorite bands. They became one of my favorites, because how great they are, live (Lzzy is just so talented. Her voice? Man. Just so good!). And, who they are, as people. The Warning became one of my favorite bands, for the same reasons! Saw you walking around, while we were waiting to get in (after the M&G's). But, looked like you were on a mission (and, it seems you were looking for food!), so I didn't bother you. But, love your "reactions"!
Mi Ami Lee es una chulada, pero los años no pasan en balde! Mis Wawas caray! Ellas ya no están para abrirle a nadie, pero me encantó ver cómo enamoraron a un público que no era suyo! 🤘🇲🇽🦊⚡
If you pause at exactly 2:52 you can see in the lineup ahead that there's a guy in a blue flannel shirt standing beside a tall guy with a hat. Just in between them there's someone with blue hair. I met her at the last show in London, Ontario, and she told me she was from Victoria, and was a HUGE Halestorm fan and bought their Meet & Greet tickets for all 9 stops on the Canadian tour. If you check out the concert pictures that all 3 bands posted, you can see her in at least one of the bands' shots in the front of the part of the stage that sticks out into the crowd at every show except for Montreal (no clear unobstructed picture from any of the bands), and London (here she is on the left, in front of where Dany would be set up). In Quebec City one of the bands has a clear shot of her (she's the subject of the photo) holding up a sign for Halestorm that says "Hey guys! It's my 20th show! Thank you so much!" I discovered Halestorm in February and was so impressed that I decided that I needed to see where they were playing near me. I was stoked to see that Evanescence was headlining, as I was a fan since their first album came out. I bought the Meet & Greet ticket for them, then wondered who The Warning was, and when I got around to listening to them in May, became a fan of them after the first song ("Evolve" music video). When their Meet & Greet ticket became available, I snapped one up right away. Some Halestorm/Lzzy Hale recommendations: "I Miss the Misery" video, "Back From the Dead" video, "Separate Ways" cover video by Lzzy and Chris Daughtry.
I just want to say screw hurricanes. Thanks Phil. I don't travel anymore (I've had to be hospitalized after my last two big trips), so it's a joy to see shows I wish I could attend. Y'all rock! ❤️⚡🤘
About your footage. It might not have been awesome video, but your audio really captured Ale's vocals wonderfully. The pride you feel for The Warning is normal. We all have it, every time they do anything. Halestorm. Yeah. I was blessed to see them in a small venue with no opening act. They did a short acoustic set for the opener, Had a short intermission then came out and rocked the place. 2 hours - 25 songs - and one drum solo. I am so here for your dive into Halestorm along with your trip down The Warning rabbit hole. Glad you had fun.
As for people leaving early, my daughter, her two kids abd saw Joan Jett in Seattle this summer. She opened for Brian Adems. She finished her set and a large number of us left.
Thanks so much for the post Phil !!!🤘⚡🔥Thanks for the Lzzy footage too I saw Halestorm with THE Warning two years ago, insane show !!Never seen Amy Lee live IN PERSON but she looks like she puts on a great show too.
I discovered Lizzy Hale. When she was brought on stage during an Eric Church performance on an ACM awards show. Lizzy blew him off the stage. It was amazing..that is where my Halestorm journey began... I just needed to know who she was. Fun fact ... She just recently sang lead vocals for Skid Row after Sebastian Bach was fired...
Lizzy Hale did a song with Eric Church a number of years ago and it was INSANE! Eric Church | That's Damn Rock n Roll (ft. Lzzy Hale) (LIVE at CMA 2014)
Hey Phil, what you said about being proud of DPA seems to be a universal experience. It's the oddest thing, personally, I've never met the ladies, will very likely never meet them, or even see them live, but i feel enormous pride for them, its weird.
Awesome video as always, Phil! I can't remember how I first heard Halestorm but it was during their second album, I've been a fan ever since! Great band and again, such good people!
If you’re into Halestorm, you’re going to discover great things. Their original music rules, but they are the best cover band on the planet as well. Also Lzzy has been asked to collaborate on several projects.
I went to see them at Montreal, it was my first concert ever and they were amazing. The entire show was. I also got the meet and greet, but once I was in front of them I totally forgot what I wanted to say, it was almost a surreal experience. Thankfully I managed to talk a bit and Dany asked me which guitar I played, since I had brought my guitar strap to be signed. Glad I was able to experience this and I hope they'll come back soon, so this time when I meet them I can actually say what I wanted to say!
I discovered Halestorm in 2014. Can't believe its 10 years already. They have 5 albums out, but there first 3 are their best. Very few good songs off their later two. I am hoping their new album next year has the appeal of their earlier stuff. I discovered The Warning in 2022 opening up for Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Flew from Chicago to Charlotte, NC to see Halestorm & The PRetty Reckless. No clue who The Warning was. After they only played two songs (Dust to Dust and Z), there was a massive Thunderstorm on the way and they called the rest of the concert off. We were blown away by The Warning though. Been a huge fan ever since. YEs dive into Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Both are great bands.
Thank you for this recap! I live in Eastern Washington state (with a brother in Vancouver BC), and had fantasized about driving up for this concert. It ended up not fitting my schedule, but it's really fun to get to follow along here. I've been enjoying your reactions for months now. I'd been curious about your signature birdman-type finish, it seemed mysterious, so thanks for the explanation! I would say, keep it up if it still feels fun for you to do it, and if you're getting tired of it, no need. Though I like the idea of a signature finish!
Great video again. A couple of years ago I saw Halestorm with In this Moment as opener here in Germany. Lzzy is like a good wine. She’s getting better and better. Do you know the story about the guitar Lzzy gifted to Dany a while ago? You can find it here on YT. Overall a really nice lineup.
I'll never listen to Halestorm very much, but i would definitely go see them in concert again. Both Halestorm and evanescence put on a really good show.
I saw the Ottawa show of this tour (as well as the final Toronto one where they debuted "Apologize"), and I would agree that their opening set felt way to short. However, I know - as you indicated - they were not the headliners. It's just that I longed for so much more to "fill my senses." I will say that ALL the musicians at the concert were phenomenal, skilled performers who play multiple instruments (like the drum sub-set from Halestorm!). I just enjoy The Warning's compositional style, lyrical richness and performance joy most.
Nicely done, Phil. Would have loved to see that show with 3 remarkably talented front women doing their thing. Of course I am a bigger The Warning fan and am just in awe of the 3 sisters' talents for writing and performing such a long list of great songs.
What a show. That was a great combination of bands. Now you know why Lzzy Hale is Dany's hero. Guitar playing female singer. Dive into the little story about Lzzy gifting Dany the Gibson Explorer guitar. Several videos on here about it. It's a great little story. Lzzy Hale and Halestorm has a lot of great songs. They also did a whole bunch of great covers 10-13 years ago. The covers are well worth listening to along with their originals. Can't say enough about Lzzy's voice. This was a great vlog and I think The Warning made many new fans. The beginning of their set you could tell most of the people down front had no idea who they are. By the end of the short set, the people down front were jumping around, bopping their heads with their hands in the air. Oh, and Mrs'. Zero is awesome. She keeps you in check.
The finger glasses in your outro should never be phased out! Instead, I vote that Phil Zero fans (the Zero Heroes?) should start greeting each other with finger glasses.
Ha! I seriously wondered about where you got the finger circles around the eyes. Great origin back story for it! I couldn't have asked for a better one. Funny AF! Thank you, for sharing! Ps… your wife is adorable! I mean that in the most respectful way! You guys look great together!
Hey Phil. People sitting beside me at the show were there for Halestorm, and they really liked The Warning. They continually make new fans. Lzzy blew me away in that show too - she is amazing. Evanescence was good too.
Glad you enjoyed your first Halestorm experience, check out the songs I am the fire, Private Parts, Here's to us or I get off, there's plenty down the Lizzy rabbit hole (sin albur) And some amazing collabs like Break in with Amy Lee, Separare Ways with Daughtry, Shatter me with Lindsay Stirling and Can you see me in the dark with I Prevail. She even sang some concerts with Skid Row this year.
When Dany asked whether they were a cult now, she mistranslated from Spanish "culto". She rather meant they became objects of veneration. Which may have actually a grain of truth. But they deserve this.
Huge TW fan but Halestorm is also sooooo amazing. I’m sure others will post the same message but Lzzy gifted to Dany the Gibson Explorer she usually uses in Enter Sandman. Lzzy said that this happened to her when the band was up and coming. And she was told to pay it forward when she finds a new artist that inspires her.
It was great meeting you in Vancouver, although brief it was. If you ever come down to Seattle for any shows, I'd be happy to show you around or pass along suggestions. Cheers!
Please. Please. PLEASE! Dive into the Halestorm rabbit hole. I found The Warning by first being obsessed with Halestorm. I've been fortunate enough to have seen them live three times and need to see them again soon (I just don't get much chance to catch live shows). I will be there for every Halestorm reaction the same way I am there for every TW reaction. Post them, I will come.
Hey Philberto I forgot to ask you on your NYC vlog, did Missus Zero get to meet or say "Hola" to The Warning? Of course if they start talking in Spanish you'd never leave! Btw points for Mrs. Z being an ABBA fan!🤘⚡😁
Hey Phil! Sorry we ambushed you after the Warning's set (we were Vincent and Christine); been following your vids for awhile and were excited to spot you and say hi.
@@PhilZero We didn't want to leave so early, especially after The Warning's short set, but we do grapple with chronic illnesses that really sap our energy levels, so we had to prioritize. I'm still really jealous that Toronto got 17 songs out of them, though!
Halestorm has been around for a while. They were actually my gateway band for The Warning. If there’s any woman in rock who has a better voice than Dany, it’s definitely Lzzy Hale - no one growls or howls like Lzzy. I don’t know as much of Halestorm’s recent stuff, but I’ve liked “Daughters of Darkness,” “Love Bites (And So Do I),” “Freak Like Me,” and my guilty pleasure is their cover of “Bad Romance,” which is freaking awesome
24:19 I'm pretty active on The Warning subreddit, and multiple people have showed up on the subreddit with questions having been introduced to the band during the Canada tour. Just judging by that, it's been a very successful tour for introducing new people to the band.
Aloha Phil, please tell us more about that original card game! Was the inventor inspired by that card game The Warning plays in Que Mas Quieres? #Philberto #APDVillaReality

Thanks Phil 👏
I'll never listen to Halestorm very much, but i would definitely go see them in concert again. Both Halestorm and evanescence put on a really good show.
Another great one, Phil.
Thank you!!
Was so hoping to see you guys in Toronto! It was an EPIC show!!!!!!!!
The Vancouver crowd is dead! Wth?! Jump! Bounce! Rock!!!
24:09 Welcome to the club, mi estimado Philiberto. ❤🎉
Another great VLOG. Thanks, Phil!
Thank you!! 💜⚡️🙏🏻
Great vlog, Phil. Glad you had a great time. Please do continue with The Warming reactions, no te olvides de las Wawas 😁. Keep Rockin' my friend 🤘⚡🤘.
I saw TW open up for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. Great concert.
!!!GOODISM¡¡¡ The Warning is 100% 🔥 !!!🎵Ole Ole Ole Oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
I went to the Ottawa stop of this tour - The Warning and Halestorm were fantastic!! Evanescence… we left early
Halestorm was started by Lizzie and her brother when they were 13 and 15 years old.''So thats how long they have been a band''
Love it!!
Great vlog... Canada finale in Toronto looked pretty special. Rock solid mic stand btw! 😎
Glad you enjoyed your first Halestorm experience, check out the songs I am the fire, Private Parts, Here's to us or I get off, there's plenty down the Lizzy rabbit hole (sin albur)
And some amazing collabs like Break in with Amy Lee, Separare Ways with Daughtry, Shatter me with Lindsay Stirling and Can you see me in the dark with I Prevail. She even sang some concerts with Skid Row this year.
From what I saw, the crowd pretty much stood still until "Disciple" played then all of a sudden they realized, "hey, this is pretty good stuff...".
Cheers!
Charles is so cool!!!!!! Dude... Thats story is so funny!!!!
Phil, 2025 The Warning will be headlining tours throughout Europe, North and South America, then you’ll get to enjoy them full force.
Please. Please.
Am I the only one that clicks the like button just a couple minutes in then wishes you could click it again at the end lol 😂
I hope you do the You Oughta Know cover The Warning did soon.
Keep doing your thing at the end. I get a kick out of it every time.
Hey guys! No need to apologize haha. It was great meeting you! ⚡️🤘💜
I don’t know as much of Halestorm’s recent stuff, but I’ve liked “Daughters of Darkness,” “Love Bites (And So Do I),” “Freak Like Me,” and my guilty pleasure is their cover of “Bad Romance,” which is freaking awesome
philberto por favor
Can we envision a collaboration between TW and Izzy Hale?
Te amo Filiberto! ❤
GRACIAS TE AMO
M&G twice! So lucky!!
24:19 I'm pretty active on The Warning subreddit, and multiple people have showed up on the subreddit with questions having been introduced to the band during the Canada tour. Just judging by that, it's been a very successful tour for introducing new people to the band.
