The Federalist Show | Episode 1 | Jinnah’s Pakistan and The Objectives Resolution

As promised, RadioLUMS welcomes its viewers, once again, with high quality content. We introduce to you, The Federalist Show. An attempt at informing and educating masses about our constitution and its history. The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973 is an extraordinary document. Though it may seem like an archaic document with little application, it still remains relevant in our everyday conversations. Other than our discussions, our constitution serves as a moral compass which keeps pointing towards the right path every time we take a wrong turn.
In the first episode, we have with us Mr. Asad Rahim Khan, a lawyer and staunch believer in our constitution. Stay tuned with us as we take a deep dive into the intricacies of this document and the conversations around it. The first episode serves as the preface to the discussions ahead on the constitutional articles. We will be discussing the Objective Resolution or rightly stated by an honourable judge as the ‘key to understanding the constitution.
We hope that other than educating the viewers, this show serves as a reminder of our rights owed by the state and the subsequent obligations we owe back to it.
