That's some heavy Civils going on. It'll all look great when the soft landscaping takes a hold. We've had to go for raised baseboards and soft landscaping. One layout has lasted for 21 years using that method😊🤞😉
    All very exciting 💜✌️👍

This is coming on really well, all I have managed to do in the time you have done all this work is do some weeding (needs doing again now after all that rain) and fit the road bridge roof template ready for concreting. Well done guys I am looking forward to the next instalment. Oh and some giant tomatoes have appeared on my viaduct footings

I find well placed rocks to stand on to reach a stranded loco in hard to get at places

Hi. Great watching your progress. Will you use spring points (switches) on the new loop (passing track) to avoid having to reach in and operate the points? Any thought to make a pool instead of a pond? You could sit in it and watch the trains steam by. BTW, today's weather report calls for a hot 113 degrees F (45 degree C) here in the Arizona desert. Looking forward to your next progress report.

Hi. Yes, the plan is to have sprung points on the passing track for that very reason. But no, we won't be making the pond into a pool. It will get some plants eventually.

Don't worry, it's just stored safely out of the way until it's needed. We don't want to damage it.
