Your timing is perfect. Planting your landscape will be done before spring, and then all the sprinting green will start making the whole track look finished and lush.
So nice to see you back - and amazing progress - looksAce! I like the track cut in to the rock - might make a nice level crossing - there must be a prototype for that? Maybe where a farmer needs to get his dairy cows over the line for milking 😀
Really exciting to see another episode, I love what you've done with it. Particularly the bridges, can't wait to see trains go over the big one, temporary or otherwise.
Really impressive work. It's come a long way. We're looking forward to seeing how the garden establishes. I remember we were willing on our plants/ground cover for the first 12months and now it's the biggest maintenance task for us - love how it looks though. Thanks for the great content! Curtis & Nikki
Great progress - it'll look super when all the plants are in✌️💜👍😊 As one other commenter wrote, how about a rubber product in the steam up pit - ala playgrounds/outdoor gyms etc.🤔🤔 I like the embedded rails, could you make them into a level crossing that has a road coming in from "off stage" along the edge of the pond (on the flat stones) to a cottage or small holding? Basic back lane narrow gauge level crossing and gates, nothing fancy, perhaps just some signs (ala any of the popular Welsh little railways) 🤔🤔💜
@@peterrobinson6872 That was my thinking too😀✌️👍 The patch of garden to the left of the waterfall behind the filter, or if removable, above the filter, could be the location for a small holding or a couple of cottages. Off The Rails used to do a few nice ones, not sure who does now, or they could be scratch built from Foamlux ™🤔🤔🤔👍😊

Absolutely fantastic 🤩

Looking amazing! Great video.
For the steam up area it might be worth while looking into the rubber granules used in playgrounds to provide better shock absorption
Certainly an idea to consider though much more expensive from a quick look. The gravel was free 😁
@@SouthgateLightRailway well you can’t beat free 😂👍
Amazing !!
It's lovely to see the railway again! Love how the pond section looks now!

Can't think of a reason why any railway would have recessed rails into rock, (but it's probably been done somewhere!). Best make it a level crossing.

An interesting idea, we might look into that.
Well yes we're not sure if it's ever been done in real life, but it looks great!
@musoseven8218 now that really is an interesting idea to go on top of the filter cover.
That helicopter at 31:58 😂
Starting to look the part with the landscaping
Excellent progress.😁 However, how many small "bits" do you expect to loose into the gravel in the steam up area?😂
