I just got my hipoint 995 from a pawnshop but it needs some T.L.C. I am so glad I saw your longshot upgrade video it's a Godsend. I fell in love with my HP995 the second I saw it and had to have it. I had a quadruple bypass in 2010 and have some dexterity and strength in my hands issues. But the easy grip delrin charging handel and large mag release look like a Godsend for me.. I also love the look of the top picatinny rail, gives the 995 a clean look.. I'm adding these to my wish list then I can save up for new upgrades I'm so excited.. thank you and longshot. I love to shoot and these upgrades will make it easier and safer.
Hola!! Gracias por crear estos vídeos veo las posibilidades de esta 995. Me temo que en España me será difícil conseguir los accesorios. Intentaré compararlos en la web de EEUU. Saludos
The 4.775 is nice. It’s like full length if I remember correctly. But feel free to call or email Longshot. They are pretty good about replying to questions. Thanks for watching! God bless you and yours In Jesus Name my friend!
How do you see without a cheek riser? I got 4595 I took back sight off and put a red dot sight. But I can’t see the top sight now. I half to sit my chin area on the the stock now.
@@patriot72 Oh ok I’m having trouble with scopes/sights/etc. I’m new to using them so maybe im not doing something right. I ordered a cheek riser tho and I did a homemade one for it to test it. Works great I can see thru the red dot and the sights. But when I had the regular sights I could see right thru the original sights perfect.
How about when you're talking about the parts you post links so we can find them or at least their name and part number. For example what kind of red. Is it always supposed to look up the video
Hello. Really liking your videos. I am set to pick up my 995TS from the FFL this Friday. I've been researching accessories on Amazon. In particular the CVLIFE 1X22X33 Red Green Dot Gun Sight Scope Reflex Sight with 20mm Rail. Will this fit on the rail that is on the carbine from stock? The description on the Hi-Point website says that it has Pic Rails but I just want to make sure they standard width. Thanks for your time and for creating this content. Cheers!
Hi Milton, thanks for watching! I’m not familiar with the cvlife red dot sight. But if it’s for a picitinny rail it should work fine. The factory stock rails on the 995ts are plastic. So you may have to use some grit when sliding them on. I just looked on Amazon and it should fit. I have to say though, I’m super impressed by the iron sights and how accurate they were right out of the box. Hi Point did a super job with that! Please feel free to reach out with any other questions. Don’t forget to subscribe. God bless!
Enjoying the vids! Got some questions. What type of flip-up sights are you using and can I have where you got them from. Also a part # would help. What brand is the red dot and was that on amazon or Longshot. Info on the Mini-Brake?
For the shroud you mentioned it was 4 3/4" long, does it give enough thread to add on a hi point break? I know the long shot website has one listed as 4 1/8" and one as 4.775".
I contacted them and them nor anyone else that I have found has a Barrel Shroud for the 19” Barrel.I added a Muzzle Break but it appears that the Barrel Shroud is unavailable for my version.😪😱😢
Sorry to hear that Clayton. Don’t give up on the project. I’m sure a remedy will come about brother! Thanks for the feedback and viewing… God bless my friend!
We do have a barrel shroud for the 19" Canadian guns. Is probably not on our website yet due to needing to have photos taken of it, but you can call us directly to order one. They measure about 7-3/16" long and are made with our Angled Vent design. They only for 995TS (9mm) carbines with the 19" long barrels. According to HiPoint, the carbines they make with the 19" barrel are all the 995TS (9mm) caliber. Price for these barrel shrouds are currently at $75 each. Yes, they are pricey, but that is mostly due to the high cost of aluminum materials and anodizing. The black anodizing alone costs us more than $8.00 per shroud!
BTW,...it may be a little tough reaching us via phone all of September and October. Email is always the best way to reach us. We just purchased 2 more CNC machines and are working long hours trying to get them installed and up and running production of our products. After November 1st things should begin to get back to normal here in our shop.
@@longshotmanufacturing I sent an email and I was told that you don’t have the barrel shroud for the 19” barrel just a couple of weeks ago.I don’t live in Canada just here in Florida but I thought the shroud would look nice if the price was right.👍🇺🇸
@@1OFGODSOWN Well, shame on us for not selling you one of the longer shrouds. They are not on our site yet and if I was not here to make sure the correct shroud and info given to you, our sales/shipping person probably didn't know we even have them. All of the carbines with a 19" barrel were produced for export to Canada. We have only recently seen a handful of them turn up in the US. And according to MKS (Hi-Points marketing and distribution channel) the only models produced with the 19" barrel are in the 995 / 9mm version. Also, they told us that they all have a 1/2"-28TPI threaded muzzle. Our longer shrouds are based on that info that was given to us from MKS. So...get back in touch with via email about the longer shroud and we will try to get it right this time.

Quick question. I have a 16"/threaded 995ts and im a little confused on the shroud sizes. Am i supposed to get the 3.900 or the 4.775?

How did you mount the sling on the left side?
You can pull out or press out the nut for the bolt that you would screw the swivel into. Search sling instal on high point carbine.

Yes, it does.
Please provide a parts list & links on upgrades
Thanks
Thanks for the advice. We do leave a link to Longshots website. Feel free to browse! Thanks for watching. God bless!
Your audio on the video went to crap whenever you came back after installing the parts?
