I have a Baja Rey 2.0 (raptor) and it’s an absolute blasts, it even street bashes pretty well! It’s an absolute tank too, but I wouldn’t recommend sending it 20+ ft in the air. If you turn off AVC you’ll get more throttle response but no gyro
This is finally priced right in the U.S. now on sale at $399. I have 2 and have had over a dozen real ones. It's easy to spend 40k on the real thing but $600 has always seemed extreme for this. It should be huge and based on the SBR 2.0 chassis. Then it would be a amazing rig.
I bought two stripped as rollers for about 175 GBP each and they love 6s, the extra down low weight really helps it(you need to remove tray to wedge batteries in) ... This RZR copped alot of flak online but it's all about knowing what this buggy is and what it isnt
By the looks of it, it should be a rollover machine, but it actually seems to handle quite well considering its shape. Guess the weight distribution is lower than it looks 🙂
My whole family is into the RC and we have a bunch. I have that that razor already and you are such a good driver and you have a bunch of RC cars. I like your Lamborghini in your monster truck. I watch your video on this every day.
It's not terrible, but pick it up on a sale, the chassis handles super well and the stock electronics are stout but they gear it way down to not blow the tires off of it. It is built on the Rey chassis which is rock solid, but this version has a different rear end. The original rock rey and baja ray are known for handling extremely well off road, and the suspension and drive train are generally very tough, they can also take being geared up significantly on the stock electronics, but they've got known weak points being these axle pins that connect to the wheel hexes, and the upper 4 link mounts on the rear axle. The new suspension on this one is still mostly an unknown, it seems to once again handle great, but idk about its durability. It also seems the metal wheel hexes are sheading the cheap stock wheels, I upgraded to aluminum Bead lock wheels on my Rock Rey, which allows me to run very nice tires, and I still thoroughly enjoy mine and run it as a great basher for off roading and especially loose dirt.
For the second part of the video. Are there height restrictions in Douglas? I mean to say can the building only be so tall due to an airport being near or some council regulation?
11:07 that underground reminds me of when a buddy rented a storage whse for our boats. The prob was, it had a speed bump at the door to keep water out. My boat had a radar arch, as the trailer wheels crept over the speed bump it raised up. I ended up having to remove the flag on top of the arch AND the little bracket that held the short mast and light. That's how close it was. If my boat was a foot closer to the front of the trailer it would have hit....

Hey kev could you try to do the high speed gearing on the latrax desert prerunner 1/18 scale. I jave that and it would be nice to see someone as big as you mess around with it. Just a head up the motor burns out quickly.
I've had several real RZR's. Currently have 2. One is a XP turbo which i think this is modeled on. I still can't want one of these. It needs to be Super Baja Rey 2.0 sized to really work. These are stupid capable in real life. With nearly 2 feet of wheel travel they soak up near anything. I've jumped 20 plus feet up over dunes without drama. I just don't think the small size can do them justice. I'd buy a SBR sized one on a heartbeat though.

I only run mine on 2s and i did aluminum beadlocks with stock tires to get weight down low thats unsprung and its awesome.
