I am sorry that it did not work out for you. Here's some good advice. If it is too humid where your Cake pops stand and dry, it will take a very long time for them to become hard. Where my Cake pops stood and dried there was dry air and after 3 hours the outermost icing was hard. Another reason could also be that the glaze is not stirred enough, so it has a lot of difficulty getting hard.
