Fun fact; Dami won the top spot in the King's Choice 'Best Female Idol Rapper' poll, twice, in 2022 and 2023.
JiU won the 'Most Beautiful Faces in Kpop' Poll last year as well.
Note: King's Choice is an online kpop magazine. These polls are based on fan votes.
Personally, in spite of her being my favorite female rapper, I don't think I could objectively consider her to be #1. I'd definitely put her in the top 10, probably top 5.

Reason is a song they wrote for Insomnias - fandom name. And the character at the end represents fans, it's wearing Dreamcatcher's robe and holding their lightstick. This song is basically a love letter for their fans.
That's so dope! And really understanding the lyrics along with the video, it shows how far they've come and the love they have for Insomnias 👌🏽

The anime, Kings Raid, is based on the Kings Raid mobile game. Dreamcatcher have done two projects with them, the first one being the song Deja Vu which served as an OST for the game and then later Eclipse. They also did an OST for the mobile game Girl, Cafe, Gun, called R.o.S.E. Blue.
I highly recommend tackling their albums since you guys seem to really like their title tracks and Jazz Bar. Their first two albums are single albums, so people typically do them together. Nightmare and Nightmare: Fall Asleep in the Mirror are both structured like this.
Intro - These are fantastic instrumentals that set the mood for the albums.

B-side (both are beautiful ballads, typically each DC album has a ballad, though it's not always a typical ballad)

The rest of the EPs and Albums are structured similarly, with more songs and genre variation, but they all have Intros and there are even a few outros sprinkled throughout their discography.
As a fellow anime enjoyer, you'd be surprised how many anime openings/outros are done by K-Pop artist. Stray Kids did the opening for Tower of God and Yunha, a female soloist, has done several including the 3rd ending OST for Bleach, Houki Boshi. I'm still hoping that Dreamcatcher will pick up another anime opening one day.

Some OSTs have been done by Jihyo of Twice. I can't remember if other Twice members have done any OSTs but I would not put it past them. Some of the members did a song for League of Legends, 'I'll Show You'.

Dreamcatcher have had a really rough time.
Their first music show win was blatantly stolen from them and they had totally given up on ever winning anything because everyone thought they had been blacklisted by YG

It is interesting that their first win was on Show Champion where typically The Show is where smaller groups can get their first win. (for those who don't know The Show is where the shenanigans with their missed first win happened). Basically their increased their popularity to the point they broke thru the barrier at Show Champion, and then The Show couldn't do much about it anymore and they started getting wins there too.
You guys should know Dreamcatcher put out a 10 part variety show called Dreamcatcher Mind, definitely worth a watch too if you want to see a different side of them. They are endlessly hilarious on any other variety show they guest on as well.

Jazz bar has an unplugged live version with all 7 members that is even jazzier and has more complex runs and adlibs from the utopia concert. Yoohyeon is officially a lead vocal but is as good as a main, its just that next to Siyeon...well Siyeon is a vocal beast, literally the only one of her kind in the industry, Dami is that way in terms of rap, SuA is a dancer but an all rounder, Jiu, Gahyeon and Handong have some of the most unique vocal colours in kpop. You should definitely check out the dance practice and the mencert dance video and the official dance mv of ootd. Its phenomenal. I also recommend their rock cover of Black Pink's ktl.
Their b-sides MVs are called "special clips," and they have a lot of them.
Dreamcatcher got me back into both kpop and rock, it was the perfect overlap of all the genres of music that i like as well as discovering more genres through their b-sides.
They have a solid and huge discography, which in itself is a choose your own adventure in musical experiences :D
They do have 'special clip' MVs for bsides, some of the older ones are on the happyface entertainment channel.

If you guys like Rock and Metal, check out Dreamcatcher's Japanese releases. They go WAY HARDER than what the Korean market will allow.
My favorite of their Japanese songs is called 'Endless Night'; it's great as a Wake-Up Alarm on a phone because it goes SO HARD when it starts! It's a Jump-scare! I HATE being SCARED awake, but it's DC so it is totally forgivable. Plus, the lyrics are very positive!
My Second-Favorite of their Japanese releases is 'Breaking Out' because it is the alternate ending to the Nightmare Series. So, PLEASE, watch and listen to all of the Korean songs in the Nightmare Series before you listen to 'Breaking Out'. :)

It's too hard to pick your favorite Dreamcatcher songs as they are all top quality, including their B-sides (in fact, their B-sides are all like A-Side title track-worthy). While their title tracks are mostly rock-sound inspired, the B-sides allow them to do different sounds, which is a must-see. I would suggest you listen to all their title tracks first before digging into B-sides, then the cover and special clips, live stage, etc. These will keep you quite busy already. I love 99% of their songs. My favorite ones would be Black or White, Curse of the Spider, Sahara, Mayday, Tension (English version), Wind Blows, July 7th, Emotion, Starlight, Reason, Fairytale, Shatter, Wonderland, Lullaby, Full Moon, Rising, Break the Wall, etc. Title track favorites are Chase Me, You and I, BEcause, Odd Eyes, Bon Voyage, etc.

Glad you guys enjoyed the recommendation! As you can tell already, even if they add rock to all their title tracks (in very different ways), their b-sides go anywhere and everywhere in regards to genres. They might not be as popular as other groups due to their core sound being rock, which is far from being a mainstream sound in South Korea, and because they come from a small company, but as you can see all the members are amazingly talented and their music slaps. As such, InSomnia is always glad to see new DC fans in the making, we always appreciate and welcome everyone who decide to give them a chance.

And definitely don't neglect including their album intros. They're fairly short to squeeze into a video and they're awesome. Of course they fit better if you do albums together.
This is what I came here to say. Dreamcatcher Albums are a must if you're at all interested in their music. Their discography is legitimately excellent, and every album has a variety of genres and styles.

You mentioned reacting to live performances. DO NOT react to anything from any of the Korean TV stations (i.e. music show performances, etc). They will block you and possibly copyright strike you.
Of course, anything that is on Dreamatcher's official channel or Happyface's official channel (DC's original company) is fair game. Also, Dreamcatcher has a tendency to make at least one [Special Clip] per comeback for their b-sides. These will either be a trimmed down MV or a performance video for whatever song(s) they chose to make a special clip for.
Outside of the special clips, there are a ton of fancam videos (of varying quality) and performance vids from numerous other sources. If in doubt, do a search for whatever video you intend to react to and see how many other people have reacted to it. If there are a lot of reactions, it should be safe. If there are only a couple, or none, it probably means the original creator is heavily protecting their copyright.
Anyway...
There's so much more I want to tell you, but you're just getting started with Dreamcatcher. Siyeon is pronounced like (She-yawn) in Korean, and the D in Dami is kind of a mix of D and T, the G in Gahyeon is a mix of G and K. (I don't speak Korean, this is just things I picked up being a fan of these ladies since Dreamcatcher debut)

At first glance you could think OOTD is about them being proud and happy with themselves, about confidence. I don't think that is it though. The album is called VersuS VillainS, which makes me think it is not this simple. So I believe this song is meant as a criticism of narcissism, vanity, materialism and also (maybe) the fast fashion industry. "OOTD" stands for "Outfit of the Day" after all, maybe it's about useless instagram influencers posting videos of their outfit of the day, which also promotes fast fashion.
The fact that fashion is moving ever faster makes it the most destructive industry to the planet only outdone by the fossil fuel industry. The Aral lake has all but disappeared because of the cotton industry for example. It would fit to the Villain image, and you can see in the MV that they are acting. It is shown in the scene where Yoohyeon and Handong are fighting, but then the camera is off and Handong helps Yoohyeon up.
The main reason why I don't think it is about confidence or their own success is the line "Driving on the highway, drunken everyday, do you feel like a monster?" and the album title. That just doesn't fit. And there was the ymenehcra (arch enemy backwards) account posting about touching a crown is dangerous and other cryptic messages before the comeback.
It could also be a big and well-hidden F*U to the Kpop industry, like the Nightmare arc probably was. The narcissism and materialism is definitely criticized here, and Dreamcatcher have been criticized a lot themselves because of their rock/metal concept, while other groups have been celebrated for using a guitar riff once in a song. And Handong standing in front of the camera with bruises all over her legs seems to be a comment on the merciless industry as well.
The music is highly interesting as well. The Rock is dirty and distorted. The song structure is not what you'd expect at all, for me it is funk rock meets K-Pop. Not their usual spiel, but a very good progression. It takes a couple of listens to really appreciate it.
"Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher!

I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri.
Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem!

@@JarelGiraffeLove Dreamcatcher! They're my favorite girl group. They're so cool with a dark edgy sound that really rocks. The music videos are always next level. Their song, Deja Vu has a heavy anime feel as well. It's one of their classics! Also for a boy group, I recommend checking out NCT 127 - Kick It.
