- We've looked at some wild stuff this past week, so let's give ourselves a break and check out a few really good fan games made for SpongeBob SquarePants. These are pretty old, but I still enjoyed going back to them!

I like how Pigsaw Castle is just repurpose Dr Wily Castle in Pigsaw image
I mean, most of the Robot Masters Dr. Wily used in his plots were stolen and brainwashed rather than actually made by himself(even the Second Numbers, which he made himself, were inspired derivatives of the First Numbers). It's only fitting that he gets ripped off back!

In these games this guy's actually called Pigface, and he's an actual humanoid cartoon pig (and he's male), and oftentimes he does the kidnappings himself. Though, he doesn't show up that much so I wouldn't blame you if you forgot about him, but he does sometimes have a pretty fun "I don't get paid enough for this" attitude.
Sooooo, has anyone mentioned that Pearl was clearly at a strip club?
"Plankton beats you to death with a clarinet" may be the funniest thing I've heard today.
I was already laughing at the bass-boosted voice lines with Squidward's "MY HAIR!"
but you're 100% right, Mr. Krab's "NOT ME MILLIONTH DOLLAR" is easily the best one.
DoodleBob and the magic pencil really sounds like a fun game concept, especially the abilities of the magic pencil!
And it got a remake
the SpongeBob saw game is so nostalgic I loved playing and still occasionally play it nowadays

Flash games always had such a unique style of music, the compression makes it so nostalgic
Ah, Inkagames! I used to love that website, they have so many of these for every character or celebrity you can imagine.
You got many about spanish youtubers, Taylor Swift, one for every member of the Simpsons family, Paris Hilton, Criss Angel...and a lot of them are about Obama for some strange reason. He's practically the mascot of the page.

The SpongeBob Saw game is nostalgiac as hell, but that SpongeBob RPG game just unlocked a memory I forgot had existed.
That thing in the window from the SpongeBob Saw game was likely a grapple hook. It would explain the footprints and how they left after taking Gary.

Mannn SpongeBob RPG brings me back even though I had no idea how to play it but I always enjoyed the visuals and music as a little kid

Spongebob Squarepants RPG has the smoothest song I've ever heard, just as relaxing as Kelpy G's smooth jazz.
There's also saw games based on shows like Phineas & Ferb, Adventure Time, Regular Show, and even The Amazing World Of Gumball.

My theory is that they're abusing the obsessive focus one gets from being traumatized to get eyeballs for ad revenue
I replayed the last two games before watching this. I feel stupid for not drawing a platform to stay above Patrick's bullets. I jumped over them. I also played the remaster so jelly fish would also fly after you when the Patrick blows the giant paint bubble so it took a few tries because I would get out of the groove of jumping over the bullets trying to avoid the jelly fish.
My friends and I played through an Obama game made by inkagames a couple months ago after one of them randomly fondly remembered it and we were all so baffled at how surprisingly good it was. A genuinely decent point and click game with nice spooky atmosphere and at times decent humor where you played as obama for some reason. Nice to know the devs have a good track record of "this is way better then it has any right to be"
Sandy confiscated the anchor arms from SpongeBob after he was exposed as a fraud. Case closed
okay I am about to throw my hat in the ring as a saw fan, that kick the box puzzle in spongebob saw? that puzzle is actually used in the first saw videogame as one of its own puzzles, specifically for one of the Big Traps that act like bosses for the game. so either this was complete coincidence, or inkagames really felt like putting in an obscure reference to non-movie saw references.

Bruh I remember some line about toy story 3 from the pigsaw game and never remembered what it was called. I never actively searched for it, but I'm glad I know what it is now.

That last one was both the first SpongeBob game I saw and thought it was an official game.

Easily the best spongebob game I've played is around the clock at bikini bottom. It's a horror game with a big overarching plot involving the jelliens and spongebob and his friends trying to defeat them and free the bikini bottom citizens. The game's levels have you play as a different character depending on the level's location (spongebob's pineapple, patrick's rock, squidward's monument, mr krabs' anchor) with each character having a different style of gameplay. The game has a lot of love and care put into it, and I 100% recommend it.

Speaking of fan games, do you ever plan to cover Around The Clock at Bikini Bottom?
I think about giving it a try every so often! That and the other SpongeBob horror fan games have piqued my interest but they're very different from the usual stuff I look at. Though I do experiment with different topics every so often so it might be worth giving a shot.
@@lucililium If you do decide it's worth a try, give Around The Clock it's own video, it's very good, longer then you might expect, and filled with little references to the show and fandom, I highly recommend it just as a game too, my only complaint is that the art style can be a tad, odd.
could you maibe in the future talk about some of those obscure point and click flash games like la foire aux mysteres or the nightmares point and click series ?

wait fuck I just remembered: I'd seen another TH-camr (wayneradiotv) play a few moments of the SpongeBob Saw game, and I was fascinated. so I decided to download the game on Flashpoint and force my boyfriend to watch me play it.
I painstakingly made my way through that fucking thing, only for there to be some kind bug. I forget which puzzle exactly, I think it was getting past the salty spitoon guard, but the item I needed just didn't exist. it was not on screen, couldn't be clicked. I was so confused I pulled up a TH-cam walkthrough to try to figure out how to free myself from Pigsaw, and the person in the video could collect the item. but I couldn't. it just didn't exist for me.
my boyfriend and I were absolutely losing our fucking minds and eventually were begging SpongeBob to help us. we did not finish the game that night
