Hey, Odin, the frosted edges of the lens after sanding can be easily made super shiny with thick topcoat nailpolish. It doesn't even have to be a branded product, just look for anything that says glossy or clear finish or, even better, gel-look.
Please do the Thundercats dagger and claw shield to complete the set. (Also Panthor’s nunchucks; and Tigra’s whip). Only criticism is one side should be the Cats symbol, the other side should be the Eye symbol for doing “Sight beyond Sight.” I would make this but it wouldn’t turn out as good; you sir are an artist. Completely breathtaking

Symbol looks right but the size of it should be smaller on depth to keep symmetry with the handle. It might be possible in some future to have fiber optic glass redirecting lasers into several beams to achieve that batman call into anything you point at but is hard work to paint the tubes to match the symbol as well when is power-off, some device might come up in the future and all you have to do is pick the color on the lasers and add some painting on top.
Pretty well done, looking very nice. I can tell you that i got a mix of The Sword of Omens, with a dragon around it, on my arm tattooed, for 12 years orso. Always been a huge fan of the Thundercats.
Maybe try making Eson the Searchers staff that held the power stone in that little video the collector showed the guardians of the galaxy in, well, guardians of the galaxy?

Coming into this one late... I do 3D modeling, and I was asked to create Cheetara's costume. In the process of looking for a decent reference, I came across the Sword of Omens, and decided I wanted to create that. Hence, I came across this old video. I have subscribed to your channel months ago, but I only really look at your newer offerings. Something tells me I need to go back and see all you have done. I think your techniques and how you describe them are spot on. You are one of the best I've seen at this, and your interests mirror my own. Keep up the good work. You are entertaining as well as informative, which I see is important. I can't afford to fund you, or I definitely would. All of my 3D software is either open source or student licensed.
Love the fantasy sword builds! Next do a Stormbringer type of sword from Moorcock's Elric stories, something big and epic with fantasy tunes and such!!!

Amazing work and I agree The Eye of Thundera is a giant laser pointer. It would’ve been cool if you could have added it to prop but I understand it would’ve taken a lot more time and money. For your next prop/props you should do the Master Sword, it’s sheath/scabbard and the Hylian Shield from The Legend of Zelda. HappyAtom has videos on how he made the Master Sword, it’s sheath/scabbard and Hylian Shield plus in all of the videos descriptions he has a set of free blueprints for each build.

Great build Odin! I would love to have a prop of this sword. Its still funny how the size of some of these props differ from what you remember as a kid (toys & cartoons) to real world scale. Never thought about the laser pointer thing until you mentioned it, lol.
Nice job :) another thing you could have done was added a wash of diluted black ink over the metal areas it would seep into the nooks and crannies of the sword and darken them for you but also make the blade look tarnished
Maybe it’s a bit to hard, but I would really like it if you made Pennywises spider legs of some sort. That would be really cool. Really like this one too!
That's two swords from my childhood (three if you count the lightsaber you built a while ago). If you, somehow figure out how to do a lighted, foam Sun sword from Thundarr the Barbarian, you'll have made my inner child VERY happy.
