Thanks for watching!
Wow! ❤
🙏🏿
My brother with all due respect, it’s important for instrumentalists to learn lyrics and understand what they are accompanying. Maybe outside kingdom music it doesn’t matter but Gospel it does. Hope you take this well. God bless you
I agree 100%. Unfortunately, we don’t always have the luxury of learning the lyrics to every song that is sung in church. Many times songs are spontaneous and there is literally no time to practice the song, this is why most gospel musicians must know how to play by ear and must understand patterns. I’ve played many songs on the spot that I’ve never heard in my life. Did I like it? No. Did I get the job done? Yes. Was it my choice? No. Learning the lyrics is important, I teach that, but concepts are important too. I hope that helps.
@@Treycross3_ yes both are important but you can’t over rule the other as if it’s less important. It’s very crucial
Both are definitely important. It’s just a matter of helping musicians be prepared for spontaneous situations.
You teach good bro
Thanks!
Could you please play this in Db?
Mann I love this ‘ I just wish it was in one more key like A minor ‘

I looked for the type A video. Is it titled differently?
I’ll upload it soon. Thanks for watching!
@@Treycross3_ thank you for sharing your gift and time. I look forward to the next video.
You're welcome!
What do you mean when you use terms like "type B" and "type A"? Haven't heard this terminology before and wanna make sure I understand it
Good question. It’s just a representation of the patterns that are normally used. It’s almost like a protocol or like calling a particular play in sports. It’s just a set pattern.
Where to find type A
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted these videos. I apologize for the mix up.
