That first candle sounded exquisite
Awe! My husband and I visited the 30A area for the first time in 2020 literally the week before everything shut down! (We also ate at George's!) It has been our favorite vacation we have ever taken! Visiting the area is what started me on redecorating our home to make it feel more like us. We visited a store called Beau Interiors (In Santa Rosa Beach) and that was instrumental in having an "aha" moment that you don't have to have "beach things" to make it feel calm and serene like visiting the area. It's the first vacation that we bought items for our home instead of the typical souvenirs! (I did get a teal mug from a store in Rosemary Beach and I use it every other day!)

We live an hour south of Atlanta. We go every summer to Santa Rosa for our family vacation. Of course we are not able to go to all the great places you have found. We can’t complain since we have five small grandchildren to entertain. It’s heaven being on the beautiful beaches with them. So glad you and your sweet family are having such a great time and safe from the tornado. It’s so scary, we had a tornado on Easter night two years ago and tore up our house. It took a year to repair. Always love your videos.❤️

A rainy windy day at the beach or time at the lake is better any day than a day stuck inside at work. Our motto anyway. Love the content. Sorry about the tornado--bad weather is pretty common in your region and adjoining states. Price you pay for warmer weather and beaches in the Southern States. We get tornados in Washington state, but they are usually 0 or once in a great while 1's--I have seen several myself. Our weather is pretty mild. Occasionally we get a nasty Winter in the Eastern part of the state. Windstorms are usually our biggest problems. Glad you guys are okay. Just keep an eye out for wall clouds and be careful with heavy rainfall and windstorms--they can mask a tornado... Best just not to be outside or driving during storms. Tornados can move very fast! My best 😉

You’ll be happy to know that sort of architecture does look Cuban/Dominican/Puerto Rican. I’ve been to all three, and while the colour palette is much brighter there (think Key West colour palette), the architectural vernacular is indeed similar!
