S2 is my favorite because there are many cool ways you can use it. For example: if there is a ranged tile between Gavial and enemies she can just keep them in one place while dealing a lot of damage, also she obliterates unblockable enemies (like wraiths) even without a ranged tile cause she just keeps pulling them and they cant escape (you dont even need to place her facing backwards).
one of good things about her is that her well balanced stats allow her to take Aak buffs with ease and she can use that more ASPD with all of her skills and get more than just DOT with her skill 1& 2
