      What? There's no actual threat targetting Magnus's Rook there. Nf6 is not a move to consider due to the pawn guarding the square. Same goes for Nb6. It makes no sense that your comment got 4 likes. 4 men using same one brain cell.

    Ive always wondered if chess ability translated to other tactical games. Like would Magnus have been a brilliant general on the battlefield? Was Napoleon Bonaparte great at chess?

    Says a lot about the game when you can pretty much play the whole game without even waiting for the opponent to move

      He just memorized every move and its counter... every opening and its counters... you can't exactly beat someone like that, once they gain an advantage and have a great position, you'll be able to win... so it is pure handwork and dedication, he also can think really fast and think ahead as the opponent and counter... it sounds really not human like.

      Seems just too fast for a human brain to actually make decisions. Most likely playing from memory, pattern recognition

    It's still crazy to me that not only is Magnus stronger than Andrew, but just as fast as well!
    I never used to think anyone could keep up with the penguin, but the lichess tourneys showed that not only could he keep up, but even surpass with a 100% berserk rate!
