Fun fact: This song was composed by Pritam and Arijit used to produce music in his studio at that time and sing scratches. He usually sung all the songs and that was sent to all the singers to understand the composition. Rekha ji received this in Arijit's voice and she was blown away and Arijit was not at all famous at that time. She made Vishal hear it too and he also liked it a lot. Vishal bharadwaj called Arijit for a classical song in Haider and since then he loves him so much that he has even kept a photo of both of them in his studio. Arijit appeared in one of his concerts and played guitar in background without anyone noticing. In the end, Vishal bharadwaj introduced him and then the crowd came to know that he was there all along😂

Rekha Bharadwaj has learnt hindustani classical music from Pandit Amarnath who was foremost disciple of Ustad Amir Khan from Indore gharana. Ustad Amir Khan is considered as one of the greatest hindustani classical singer. Rekha ji has received best of training and add to it her effort and natural talent and we have a fabulous singer
