It would be cool if Neural DSP released a sort of archetype hub or archetype builder, where you could combine different aspects of archetype models and be charged according to how much you put in. For example, I'd want the pedals from Gojira, the amps from Nolly and the time effects from Petrucci.
I know this can be achieved by just loading in all 3 and turning on the parts I need, but that really sucks up processing power

As good for us as that would be, that would be such a money loss for them.
People paying for features they don't need is probably over half the money they make.

    • @slash196
      @slash196 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

@@iurigrang It wouldn't be any less money. You'd still be selling the full plugins. You'd just be making them easier to use. People can already do this, I use the Plini effects sections on just about everything, but it's kind of a pain.
Personally I expect them to do this, particularly since they're porting everything to the QC where it'll have to be modular anyway.

I hate to criticize this video but you were saying that you thought the video was too long and quite honestly I could have watched that video for hours and hours. Watching you have so much fun with that program and listening to you play and get the most out of each preset and getting to hear all of the different presets was absolutely entertaining and since you have so much knowledge of not only the program but obviously in playing the guitar I genuinely enjoyed listening to you get the most out of each preset and the different genres of music you were able to enjoy playing. This video was an absolute delight and I wish it were longer because I would just let it play. I felt like I was in the room with you and every time you did something that shocked you and brought a great big smile to your face I caught myself smiling with you because watching somebody genuinely enjoy something new like an awesome Christmas morning is quite honestly and awesome thing to witness from a spectator's point of view. It was like watching and incredibly gifted kid opening up the best Christmas gift ever LOL. It was a lot of fun and I hope you do a lot more videos like this one

I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying that this plugin has just about every tone I'll ever need. Love the variety & quality of both clean and distorted tones.
Heavy thrash? Got it, thanks to Kiko of Megadeth.
Want to tune your E standard 6-string down to A standard? There's a pitch-shifted tone that sounds almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
Want to sound like you're playing an acoustic? "Hello Victoria" sounds eerily close.
I play in E standard, but it sounds like there are some tones meant for rhythm playing on thicker 7th or 8th strings, in addition to heavy tones that sounded great on my Les Paul. There's really something for everyone.
I could go on for days, but I'll end by mentioning the sheer thrill I got out of playing the Pull Me Under with the preset of the same name and sounding pretty much exactly like Petrucci did in the studio in '92.

Neural has done almost too good of a job on previous plugins. haha, The Nolly and Wong plugins basically felt like acquiring all of my dream sounds in one simple package. This is so effing tempting though..

The plugin has some awersome features but I find the Archetype Gojira is sounding better :) Well I am still tempted because the transpose and doubler are so, soooo great to have

Honestly same and tbh I had problems with a weird clicking noise while using the petrucci one but not with gojira

Great playing and great product. Question I have: What did you use as an input device to get the guitar signal into the computer?

      A dedicated audio interface.

Me when it came out: That's so awesome that they made Archetype for Petrucci! But I don't really need it with Nolly, Plini, Gojira, and Nameless.
Me when Ola did his video: Holy shit! That transposer sounds awesome. I might reconsider.
Me when Bea does his video: THEY HAD RABEA DO PRESETS? I. MUST. HAVE. IT!

I'd echo this - likewise except also Cali (which is sweeee-eet!) and vowed I was not going to be tempted to buy any more ampsims.... destined for a colossal fail after hearing this!

Amazing video as always!!🤘 don’t know if you will see this but don’t know where else to reach out. I play a game called Rocksmith a lot ! It’s a guitar/bass simulator game, super fun and really good to learn to play songs. I would really like to play some Toska songs on there but in order to do that I need tabs😅 I feel like you have answered this question in some other video but are tabs something one can purchase from you guys?

How do you avoid latency? If you use a stand alone session there is a Settings icon but not in Logic. I tried recording with it and the latency messed up my rhythm. Sounds amazing though.

Love this demo. Really comprehensive. Thanks loads. I've bought a couple of the neural plugins based off the back of your videos. They are now integrated into my live rig. More a guitar question for you. I have a Chapman Baritone, got the stock pre sonourous pickups. I've noticed your baritone signature model has the bareknuckle silo....while I'm not yet ready to buy that guitar I do have an old guitar not being used with a bareknuckle warpig in it. Could you honestly say if I swapped it into my Chapman Baritone I'd get a noticeable improvement in tone? Your silo sounds immense so hoping it would get "similar" results. Would love to hear your feedback. Cheers fella

I own many many pickups including fishman, multiple bare knuckles, EMG Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, The silo pickup I have in the bridge of my Chapman baritone is by far my favorite for rhythms right now, especially since pinch squeals stand out better than any other pickup I own, good luck to you cheers!

    Hello!
I've trying to figure something out for a while now since I'm a newbie when it comes to recording and/or streaming with Audio from my DAW.
How would I make this possible to record my Guitar sound AND Mic sound on my DAW?
Plug a Mic into the DAW along with the Guitar Jack Input ? That would seem the most logical to me.
