How exciting! Iforget it's still that cold in places. We are having "false spring" in texas and it's been 80 degrees since the last cold front a few weeks ago.
The yellow white face calf is so pretty I wouldn’t sell that or the white but I know you have to make money that is what it is all about. Thanks for the video Issac.
I learned my lesson long time ago i went bought me some cows when i was 18 and i let them out of the trailer in the pasture and they got out and never seen them again so now on i always put up new cattle i get in my small pan i got its bout 20 acres and they stay in there for until they get use to me if they don’t they go back on the bus to the sale barn all my cattle run on 3500 acres land and my other 3000 acres is hay ground all the land is mine i don’t do rent or less land i own it don’t do payments or mortgage i just pay land tax i have 580 mama cows and 450 heifers and now first time mamas going to keep bout 250 heifers this year and sale the rest i don’t buy cattle at the sale barn that much sometimes u be buying somebody problem sometimes u never knw lol
When u buy new cows and calves always put them in a small pan so they can get use to u and feeding them so they won’t be scared of u when u need to catch them and keep them away from the other animals they won’t get them sick if they r sick always keep new animals from each other see if they r sick or not when they start looking good and healthy they put them with the other cows u do what easy for u just saying that’s all i not telling u what to do with ur animals
It is amazing what better pen does
Agreed. His new panels he got for the rental farm are a great improvement that makes things smoother and safer.

Lots of calves to come
What is the average age of the heifers?
These heifers were born March 2023. So they will calve basically at 2 years old.
🇧🇷
You look different but it's hot so we will leave it on. I don't know how you keep track of the girls. Calves already? Great. Good video. Pax.

You need a bigger trailer! Lol
I do! A 20ft trailer is on the list for 2025. Should be able to haul 7-8 cows comfortably.
I have a 7x20 stock trailer I can haul 7-8 fats
