I lived for a couple of years in a foreign country for work ...at first I was very facinated at the orderliness , environment was clean and there was no Honking like in India .Two years was enough for me to realise all are superficial ,then i took an exit and landed in Chennai airport when I again hard the sound of honking it literally gave me goosebumps that I am in my country and I belong to this country ..... According to me .India with all its problems is still the best place to live and die . Here after ,I never tried to go abroad again ..now after about 15 years of returning home ....I knew I made the right decision .Jai Ma Bharati .

@@uruuu9595 See , everything is superficial in Western countries and life is not easy as it looks from outside .So ,if you put in the same effort here in India ,you can live a better life .Lastly ,an outsider is always an outsider ....you will never ever be equal with the native people ........lastly , when one dies in India ,atleast four people will volunteer to take the body for the last rites .....there when you are young you try to live like a king ....but die like a stray dog in the cold .There is famous quote by Willam Shakespeare " All's well that ends well " .But my friend ,many people like the fake materialistic world of West and some achieved a lot in terms of money ......but I have observed there is no happiness as in India .last but not the least your children will be much safer in India ... Here I have shared my perspective but ultimately you have to make your own judgement.

But unemployment is big problem. Population over shot China but except BJP no party able to speak about control. Unmarrid increasing due to no jobs or low paying jobs. No amount of development can't accommodate all. Even US have unemloyment, poorly employed problem. If one is above middle class with a capacity own a house I don't think the necessity of migration to west.

So good to finally see your parents in Canada. I am a kidney specialist doctor from Ludhiana. My daughter Just entered York university as a transfer student this September. Your videos made her journey from India to Canada very smooth & comfortable. We were ABLE TO PLAN IN ADVANCE about so many things. Your positive energy gave the whole family back home the trust to let her pursue her dreams. The separation from our daughter became easier as we were not sending her abroad unprepared. So THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for this. The Vlogs with your parents are like the Icing on the cake. Your mother is a natural in front of the camera and is able to captivate the audience. Now we know from where you got this talent Gursahib ji. Sorry for such a long post. God Bless you with all the comforts of life.

I am from Chennai living here in Canada with my hubby with my son and daughter's family for the last one year on Supervisa. My kids have sponsored us for PGP program too.
I agree with all the points your mom said and would like to go back. We are nagging our children for us to go back and they are hesitating. Probably we will be going India in a month or two before the snow fall starts.
The main reason for this is mainly our dependency for every single thing on our children and the absence of socializing apart from the "weather!!!!".

Mami ji is absolutely right, parents can’t live as they have to be dependent for everything at this stage of life. & after-all east or west India is the best!❤
The way we have grown up back in India is totally diff from here in Canada. I can totally relate with your Mom.😊
