Greetings and welcome to the "BanG Dream!" universe! BanG Dream! is a multimedia franchise portraying the story of several all girls highschool bands. It consists of an anime series, mangas, a mobile game, and live shows where the voice actresses for the anime and game are also the musicians playing their characters' instruments on stage. "Where has this been in my life?" you asked: let me tell you that I had the exact same reaction when I discovered BanG Dream! three years ago. As you've noticed by the crowd size, the franchise is well known in Japan, but not so much over here. Though, I've been seeing more and more reaction videos to the various BanG Dream! bands lately, so that might be a good indication of an upcoming rise in popularity in the rest of the world. The project officially launched in 2015 with their first band Poppin'Party. Roselia was formed shortly after, in 2016. Since then the franchise kept growing and forming new bands, up to a current total of seven live bands (with three additional bands being fictional only). Roselia members (Real name / Character name): - Aiba Aina / Minato Yukina: vocals - Kudou Haruka / Hikawa Sayo: guitar - Nakashima Yuki / Imai Lisa: bass - Sakuragawa Megu / Udagawa Ako: drums - Shizaki Kanon / Shirokane Rinko: keyboards List of BanG Dream! live bands: - Poppin'Party - Roselia - RAISE A SUILEN - Morfonica - MyGO!!!!! - Ave Mujica - Mugendai Myu-Type Fictional only bands: - Afterglow - Pastel Palettes - Hello, Happy World! Hope you'll enjoy your BanG Dream! journey, and thank you very much for helping bring more eyes and ears onto this awesome project! Wishing you a great day!
The girls in the band are actually the voice actresses for the anime characters shown throughout the video. The anime is called BanG Dream!. BanG Dream! is a rhythm game and anime where the main cast consists of 7 bands, Poppin Party, Afterglow, Pastel Palettes, Hello Happy World, Raise a Suilen, Roselia and Morfonica. The band you just watched was Roselia. Roselia comprises of 5 members, Yukina Minato (Vocalist), lisa Imai (Bassist), Sayo Hikawa (Guitarist), Ako Udagawa (Drummer) and Rinko Shirokane (Keyboardist). Their voice actresses are Aiba Aina, Yuki Nakashima, Kudo Haruka, Megu Sakuragawa and Kanon Shizaki, respectively.
Aiba Aina, aka AiAi, has a very unique and powerful voice which she got from her past career being an ex-pro wrestler. To answer some of your questions, BanG Dream! was released 5 years ago. Sadly, only 4 bands, Roselia, Poppin Party, Raise a Suilen and Morfonica, actual sing their songs live. BanG! Dream is a really popular franchise and we would definitely appreciate the support!
I went to one of these concerts they were doing. It was crazy and actually got a signed shirt by the singer aina aoba. Had to fly from canada to japan in tokyo lol
Ooooh yeah, you're in for a ride!! Love it when reaction channels tackle this band, they're sooo good! So thanks for this! Others have explained basics about BanG Dream! to you already so I won't dig into this too deeply and simply just leave you some recommendations: For Roselia, please do FIRE BIRD next, and also check out Raise a Suilen (pron. "Sue-lynn") with "EXPOSE 'Burn out!!!'". They're from the same franchise and especially that song is perfect for getting to know them imho! ♥
Btw this isn't the live version of the song, it's the studio version with the video being a compilation of live performances + the anime (from which the live band takes reference) I believe the live band has been around since 2018 but I only discovered them earlier this year so better late than never 😅
Their first live concert was on 2017-06-30. But they also appeared as guests (with 3 songs, only one Roselia song and two anime songs not from BanG Dream!) in Poppin'Party's BanG Dream! 3rd☆LIVE Sparklin'PARTY 2017! on 2017-02-05. That is the earliest one.
Woah, I really didn't expect this. This is so cool! Roselia is one of the playable band in the mobile game called Bang Dream. There's other 6 playable bands in that game. Maybe there's one more that has been added, I'm not sure since it's been a while since I played the game. And also yes, there is an anime based on the game and these bands. If possible, could you also check out their mv song called Neo Aspect? It will be a treat for sure.
Welcome to Roselia! And to all of BanG Dream! They're such a fun band to follow! If you like LOUDER, you should also check out R and FIRE BIRD. All three are classics.
A chronical Movie combines short pieces of many concerts as well as scenes from the anime. They all play the same song in the same time frame. It seems to be difficult to mix that all together and it looks like they are always in time with the rhythm of the song. The reason is that they rehearse so much that they can play exactly like in the anime which is displayed on a screen *behind* them and they don't see it. Nevertheless every tone and every sound fits perfectly. The reason is that they rehearse 8 times and more each week to be perfect. But that is what Japanese want to be: Perfect. That is NO playback however. You notice this for example when Aina Aiba, the lead singer, makes a long break before singing: "Louder, you're my everything". That is different in ALL concerts and the record on CD. This is live. I own ALL of their concert blu rays as well as ALL of the other bands from BanG Dream!. Btw. they say "bandori". The G in BanG is for "Girls" because these are all girls bands. Fans of the "BanG Dream!" bands are called "BanG Dreamers". I am one of them. And if you like the good mood of the girls of Roselia then you need to to try the first band as well, that is Poppin'Party. You haven't see a better "fun band".
Just want to note, this song was performed before the Anime aired. It’s not the Band copying the Anime in their movements, it’s the other way around - the Animators used the Live Concert footage to animate their Anime Characters in the show. This is actually true for a vast majority of the performances in the Bang Dream Anime, including the MVs as well.
@@Anim3Gamer I just thought about your answer and it right for all of the Chronicle Movies because it contains many video tracks and only one sound track which is from the CD. However it does not explain something else. For example: On Aug. 21st 2020 in the concert "BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE Summer Outdoor 3DAYS DAY1 Roselia 'Einheit'" Roselia plays FIRE BIRD live. In the background on the big screen you see the FIRE BIRD anime at the same time. Also live. The audience saw it. After about 30 seconds, after Aina Aiba said "Thank you for always supporting Roselia" she needs to wait until the anime is on sync for the next scene. And everything happens without her seeing it (it is in her back). That part is not on the original CD, there she says something else. It is the only time they play this version. No one can tell me that they put this anime video in the background AFTER the show. Because the audience sees it at the same time live. So it looks like they still can play in sync to the anime that runs in the background at the same time. How can this be explained?
@@skyfreak58 Some of the shows show the Animation along with them behind them. There might be rare cases where the Animation came out before the Live, but in those cases they might have used practice footage. This also shows just how precise all the Bandori bands (and D4DJ groups) are when they perform in terms of their movements on stage. Of course, there are times where they freestyle too - but if their is a animation behind them, very likely there is a rehearsed movement they’re doing too. As for that bit with Aina timing herself to start to the video behind her - also very likely there is a TV on stage (or somewhere not obviously seen) showing the footage being projected behind them. I’ve seen that a few times at other Anisong Concerts, or at least the ones I’ve seen at Anime Expo. Or, it could be as simple as the Stage Techs timing the footage to her.
@@Anim3Gamer Of course they are practicing a lot. I once read that Roselia would do rehearsals 8 times and more a week. And yes, you are right, they are precise. The example with Aina might not be the best one, but bore Kanon is playing the piano and at the same time you see her in the background movie. And every key she hits in the anime behind her is exactly at the same time she hits the note on her keyboard. Even to the fraction of a second. And it is like that on every show. I own all BanG Dream! concert Blu Rays (about 70 and growing) and no matter what I watch, it is simply amazing. There are cameras from behind so you can often see the lyrics on the small screens on the floor before them. You can also see their face and eyes very big (in the Blu ray). And you can notice when they look down. For example this happened very often during the first concert of Morfonica, even they they talk something, so they would not forget what to say. Of course when they run around the stage this does not help. And for the syncing, of course Aina can have a signal through her ear monitors from the stage crew. But then further on in that song, they still play so exact. Maybe Megu has a click on her ear monitor or they are just amazingly perfect.
Roselia LOUDER lyrics Betrayal falls down in the dark The world is crumbling Heart ripped away and lost heat on mind still blotting out weakness Holding on to my immaturity turning our backs on the fact that we have no right to sing Faded eyes, I set them on fire Your words Louder...! Yo TYLR, I have all Roselia's concerts for you to checkout. I just posted another comment under this video with a link to their 1st live 'Rosenlied'. Check the description for setlist and timestamps.
I am so glad you stumbled upon them! Those multimedia projects are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend checking out more music from this band as well as some others from Bang Dream project! Roselia LOUDER lyrics
Betrayal falls down in the dark
The world is crumbling
Heart ripped away and lost heat
on mind still blotting out weakness
Holding on to my immaturity
turning our backs on the fact that we have no right to sing
Faded eyes, I set them on fire
Your words
Louder...!
You're my everything
You're my everything
Your sound that shines and overflows
I want to try to... tell you with my sound
I'm movin' on with you
[movin' on with you
I'm movin' on with you
I'm movin' on with you
No more need to cry
Fragility can be shattered so long
I'll make it happen
I'll make it come true
I don't look back
I'll choose the inevitable, all the time
Will you show me your skin that's chafed?
There's nothing to be ashamed of
All the time
Oh, I'm not afraid.
I'm not afraid.
Not one word.
To listen...
I will never die
I will never die
Until I fulfill my destiny in the place of my birth
I will keep on running
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Silence is so good-bye
Shake it up harder, wake it up, let the wind and waves blow
With my first voice
Only one... if you untie the song
When I untie the song, the me from back then
And you're smiling at me from back then
I renew one's hopes just
Strongly
Hotly
Sing for...
Sing for...
Louder..!
You're my everything!
Your sound that shines and overflows
I want to try to... convey with my sound
I'm movin' on with you
Movin' on with you
I'm movin' on with you
I'm movin' on with you
No more need to cry
Feel alive...
