Great instructional! Loved the simple yet highly effective visual inserts for arm angles, "zones" to be in, and of course to show off the Steve face :) this is definitely going in my tutorial playlist. Can't wait for continuations

I watched this while taping weights (in the form of multiple rolls of electrical tape) to the ends of my wooden practice staff.. then headed out to practice, and had it down within two hours! (did other things too, hooping, staff spinning..) Your breakdowns and reminders were incredibly helpful, I could hear you talking about the sweet spot overhead, and the curve of my first arm... my success today has me smiling!

I prefer what i refer to as a 'counter weight %", of 30-50% of the overall mass of the staff, fixated on the ends. I will not support or condone the use of a TC staff, as they are not manufactured by prevalent contact staff flowologists, like myself. Buy one of mine, and you will not be disappointed!

Trust me, it makes a world of difference to use a properly designed tool. You may limit your progress, as well as train useful patterns to accommodate for a less than ideal staff. Check out our shop, consider the investment :)
