Golf Jetta II Automatic Transmission Fluid Service Mk1 Mk2

You may remember my moms Golf II automatic from the Car TLC Video if not go check it out.
Overall it's probably the most reliable car in the family - does what it's asked for and nothing more. Until it decided to make weird noises and not got in gear. Here is how I serviced it.

color of the oil? I have yellow oil on the dipstick. I bought a febi bilstein 14738 yellow substitute according to vag tolerance, the oil has not changed for a very long time, it could change color during operation. In your video, you fill in red, I'm confused.

hello at a speed of 120 how many revs is the engine?

I have the exact same problem it sometimes takes the gears sometimes then stops. I toped it up with ATF but I didn't remove the filter and the oil pan please assist

става въпрос за вакум маркучите, излизащи от сервото до малкото пластмасово нещо за двата малки маркуча, колата работи много неравномерно на празен ход, единият малък маркуч не знам къде влиза, а четох, че причината за това “тресене” на празен ход е от тези вакум маркучи, много ще съм Ви благодарен ако може да ми споделите къде отиват въпросните малки маркучи или ако е удобно-ще се разходя до където Ви е удобно за да погледна пътят им.
