- On this episode of the Africans In Sports MY STORY we are featuring Nigerian swimmer, Philip Adejumo. Adejumo is breaking down barriers for young black Africans. From a young age, he was always reminded of the stereotype that black kids can't swim. Now an elite swimmer for Nigeria, he waves his flag to the world as a symbol that black people can in-fact swim.

More are learning how 2 swim.....my daughter now does triathlons......all it takes are 4 parents to care.....

What did Nigerians in his community think about his commitment to swimming? It seemed that his sister was a big shoulder to lean on.
There is a teeny-tiny river !!!!!? !we have swam and must clean up......The Nile had swimmers....and of course it is the smallest river in the world....right??!! Our generations still have much work to do and we can do it together!!!!!
