Obviously the theory at the end is the definition of the term "reaching" propably a cope or at least his way of justifying these things or explaining to himself why his beloved comedian would do such creepyness
So wouldn’t that make it a bit less creepy? He had the opportunity later on in his career to continue to act this way to a greater extent because he only got more power and fame but the incidents all happened in the early 2000s
I was going to comment this, but went searching for someone who said it first. 😂😂 It was killing me everytime he busted out a new term for fucking your knuckles. 😂
He asked women for consent to do a sex act. The very thing we're all asking men to do. He DID do two major things wrong: there was a phone conversation where he was masturbating and confessed to the other person, and where he didn't have consent, which she was upset by. Bad. And he approached women he worked with, which isn't a good idea, but in no way illegal. Moreover, he accepted what he did wrong, he made it clear that he has learned from it, and it was over 15 fucking years ago. If you can't make mistakes in this world, what can you do? Especially when you actually take accountability for it. Those of us that listened to O&A also have some insight. He was going through a divorce and dealing with mental health stuff. At that time he was in therapy, presumably for things of this nature, and shortly after he put a stop to it. This is human. This is the human experience. Sure, plenty of us don't have this kind of transgression on our record, but if you claim to not have a single embarrassing skeleton in your closet, you either haven't lived a life or you're lying. I love Louie.
Just think of all the times he got away with this with little girls and underage girls, its an actual mental issue to want to expose your jink to other people, there are studies about people who feel the need to expose their private parts, just think of how old hie is, back when he was young, because that’s when disorders like this tend to start to occur, he probably has so many victims from the 70 and 80 and 90’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had recordings of himself exposing his privates to people….he has a disorder and he clearly doesn’t get help for it💁
I don’t think he should be cancelled or something like that, but the fact that the woman were on the other end of the power dynamic makes his actions deplorable. He seems to have been punished, we move forward.
I’m not a supporter of cancel culture, but Rogan’s rage over social consequences is absurd. He acts as if he and his friends or anyone he identifies with should have zero social consequences for anything they say or do. Meanwhile the rest of us have to deal with consequences of our actions and words in everyday life.
They're all entitled narcissistic rich as*holes who live inside a bubble smelling their own farts. I only follow the "comedy scene" out of morbid fascination, just like other people watch serial killer videos.
I see what you're saying but it's not close to even being comparable. When "one of us" does something bad or messes up, we face social consequences amongst those we know and maybe at work or something. When somebody famous messes up, it gets twisted, lied about, blown out of proportion, it spreads like wildfire. People who don't know the situation and don't bother to read anything beyond a clickbait headline draw conclusions as to the type of person someone is without having even a little truth about what actually happened. That's what Rogan speaks about...not having consequences, but the disproportionate hatred from people who are probably just as shitty as anyone else judging every action of their lives. I've heard him equate it to people subscribing to only fans talking shit about OF content creators as though they're somehow better for consuming content rather than creating it.
The context does matter, though; that might be considered a fireable offense within a stand up comedy context is different to an employee what has a corporate HR department. That said, Rogan is out of touch.
@@scottmorrison1561 I get your point but the conduct at issue in this situation wasn’t okay for a standup comedian either. What I’m opposed to is their sense of entitlement to be free of any social consequences for their actions.

Hmmm… you can’t settle criminal charges out of court though. I don’t know enough about the Diddy situation, but I did hear recently there have been further allegations
I don't see what he did that is so creepy. I'm a woman and every job I've ever had there is some consensual sexual dynamic going on between some employees. If you're interested in a coworker but that person gets a raise or promotion is it off limits then since there will then be a "power imbalance"? As far as I've seen and read he never forced himself onto anyone but asked consent and was given that. The idea that grown women are too timid to say no to someone who is a friend is kind of insulting. If it were an aggressive stranger who barricaded the door it would be different. That doesn't seem to be the case, and from the accounts at least a couple of the women were in the room together and said they started cracking up and said yes when asked. To later say that he did something against their will is disingenuous in my opinion. I could understand maybe telling him later that it caught them off guard and they didn't appreciate it and not to do it again, but not using it to try to destroy someone because you didn't have the sense to decline a sexual request.
@@possumfriend2335 There are actually reports that he did block a hotel room doorway from two women who didn't think he was actually being serious and then he whipped it out and started giving 'er. The bottom line is in the comedy community women warned each other that he was known for doing this behaviour. He's a big time famous celebrity and leveraged his influence and power over these women in an inappropriate way. If he had sexual relationships with them it would've been a different story completely. He didn't have any real relationship with these people other than they were lesser known comedians who were star struck and wanted to hang out with him. The fact he "got permission" doesn't really matter all that much as he says himself he put them in a "predicament" where they felt obligated to agree to it because of his status. It's a complicated situation. He obv didn't rape or assault anyone physically but it's inappropriate and weird. The power imbalance prevented the women from speaking up as it would affect their careers in a negative way or get them black listed. He knew this and took advantage of it in a predatory way. He's a comedic genius and I'll appreciate him always but clearly he did some dumb things I'm sure he regrets.
Louie did those things before he was super famous, the latest being 18 years ago. Think about it, this is before Lucky Louie, a sitcom that lasted one season on HBO, that no one heard of and no one watched and Jim Norton was probably the most famous on that show. When he said he didn't realized that his fame made it more difficult for the women to decline, well he was just saying that to please the mob. Sarah Silverman was one of those comedians and she was much more famous than Louie 20 years ago.
Excellent work man man. Such true talent and dedication needs to be distinguished from the rest. You did a really good job I wasn't expecting u to end the video the way u did. I really had that thought of Louie doing it on purpose. Do u think Matt Rife tried to do the same with his '' misogynistic '' opening?
Personally I put this man in the top 3 best comedians of the last 20 years. He is truly phenomenal at his craft. But yeah he's definitely creepy. I mean asking random women if they'd like to watch you rub one out puts you in that category.
What's more important: The truth or legal charges? Do you need a judge to tell you what is morally right or wrong? Because that's what you are saying We all know the truth and therefore should be capable of making moral judgement. I personally think what he did is very bad, but he got punished well enough and people deserve second chances. But sating "He didn't get charged" as if it matters is nonsense.
Actually what you broke down about what Louie was doing at the height of his Fame as a cry of help because he didn't really feel comfortable with how much they were treating him like a god makes perfect sense yeah he made himself the butt of the joke instead of telling the jokes because he didn't feel comfortable with who he was becoming so yeah that makes perfect sense
louie was whipping it out in front of women long before he hit it big, so your theory doesn't work.

Had no idea there are so many expressions for jackin the beanstalk
Louie did those things before he was super famous, the latest being 18 years ago. Think about it, this is before Lucky Louie, a sitcom that lasted one season on HBO, that no one heard of and no one watched and Jim Norton was probably the most famous on that show. When he said he didn't realized that his fame made it more difficult for the women to decline, well he was just saying that to please the mob. Sarah Silverman was one of those comedians and she was much more famous than Louie 20 years ago.
I might have to rewatch this video, just to see if I can count how many different ways you have of saying beating his meat.. truly impressive.
How about a little from column A and little from column B….
Yeah definitely! I made a video on what Rife did…
Everything Louis does is on a legendary level. From his comedy to his creepiness.
“Playing 5 on 1” lol brilliant
he's always been my favorite legendary creep 😊
"celebrating palm sunday" lmao
Personally I put this man in the top 3 best comedians of the last 20 years. He is truly phenomenal at his craft. But yeah he's definitely creepy. I mean asking random women if they'd like to watch you rub one out puts you in that category.
Wow that entire section was incredibly insightful. Thank you for the amazing content man! 19:27
Another banger. (Pun intended) Thoroughly enjoyed this one, and the bit of insight to how you approach your content.
I've never heard so many different innuendos for that, lmao
A hunnerd percent spot on again dude
BURPING THE WORM!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Here's the thing, NO CHARGES WERE MADE, NOBODY CALLED THE COPS,.. Luis CK is a GREAT COMEDIAN. PERIOD.
What's more important: The truth or legal charges? Do you need a judge to tell you what is morally right or wrong? Because that's what you are saying
We all know the truth and therefore should be capable of making moral judgement.
I personally think what he did is very bad, but he got punished well enough and people deserve second chances. But sating "He didn't get charged" as if it matters is nonsense.
I like you far more now that I know you’re a channel that doesn’t make shorts 😂
All the “boxing the one eyed champ” references had me lol 😂you’re very intelligent and put a lot of thought into this. Which I appreciate 👍
After the 5th one it was kinda hack
Actually what you broke down about what Louie was doing at the height of his Fame as a cry of help because he didn't really feel comfortable with how much they were treating him like a god makes perfect sense yeah he made himself the butt of the joke instead of telling the jokes because he didn't feel comfortable with who he was becoming so yeah that makes perfect sense
I'm not a fan of him but he's still funnier than most "comedians" out there today.
Having so many ways to say "masturbate" and not repeating a single one is crazy
Creepy legend
The way you went around the p and the m word is amazing 😂. Well done sir
Loui is still the funniest comedian today
